As a German language teacher, I am certified in teaching German as a Second Language (DaZ) at the University of Cologne. I gained pedagogical experience over several years, from 2014 to 2021, working as a lecturer at adult education centers. I have continuously developed myself professionally, both through practical teaching experience and by participating in advanced training in language didactics and intercultural communication.

I am accredited by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) as a German and integration instructor and also work in this field as a language mediator, helping to overcome linguistic and cultural barriers. Since 2023, I have been teaching German both online and in person at the ISS Language Institute in Cologne, supporting learners in effectively developing their language skills and integrating into German society.

I have developed my own method for learning German, based on six stages: diagnosing, planning, applying, optimizing, analyzing, and observing. Each stage of this methodology is practice-oriented and helps learners acquire the language quickly and effectively. Additionally, as a teacher, I take into account the individual needs of my learners and continuously adapt my teaching materials to enhance their learning success.

In my one-to-one online courses, you will find a room just for yourself, where you will be coached within a German-speaking setting. Each lesson depends on your needs and aims, which may be to improve a specific linguistic feature such as pronunciation, grammar, spelling, or vocabulary. Or it may be to work on a specific goal, e.g. an official language exam, finding work in German-speaking countries, or bureaucratic issues. Or it can just be a conversation to gain fluency.
In our class, I will also point out what you can do during the week to further improve your German language skills and get closer to your goals and I will hand out to you the study material you need.

Hello! I am Marisela, Teacher of English and Spanish for Foreigners ELE. I have a Certificate endorsed by the Instituto Cervantes of Spain. My mother tongue is Spanish (Castilian) and my second language is English and I am perfectly bilingual Spanish and English. I studied English at a university in the United States of America and I have worked in American Schools with Preschool, Elementary, Middle and High School or High School students. In addition, I have also taught university students and adults in general. As well as I have lived and worked in different countries where English and Spanish are the most spoken languages around the world.

I like to organize the classes according to the learning objectives of each student, so my classes will be adapted to the level, needs, interests and pace of each student. I have many teaching materials and resources to use in my classes and the teaching materials and resources the student already has will be used as well.

From a very young age, my great passion has always been languages and I have stood out for being a very friendly teacher, with a lot of patience, very friendly and fun at the same time, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere so that students feel comfortable and at ease. confidence for your learning. In addition, I have a long career working as a Translator and Interpreter of English and Spanish and vice versa also internationally.

I currently give private English and Spanish classes online.

Guten Tag! The German language can be a lot of fun when you know how to speak it but a bit of a head ache when you are still struggling to put together the words..
I have lived in Germany for 9 years, attended the Goethe Institut, graduated from a German high school with a GPA of 1,5 and am currently studying at university in the German language. Having been through the process of learning German from 0, I know the joys and annoyances that are part of this journey and would love to help you.
