This class is for aspiring applicants to Oxford and Cambridge Universities, which both have their own unique and challenging application process. As a current undergraduate at Oxford University (French and Spanish), I have fresh, first-hand experience of this process.

Moreover, I have substantial previous experience in offering this type of consultation through volunteering work. You'll receive in-depth, personalised feedback on your application (e.g. personal statement, admission test, practice interviews).

I am able to offer consultations for all arts and humanities subjects, since the application process is very similar for these disciplines and the same skills are being tested. My previous volunteering position required me to support students applying for subjects different to my own (e.g. English, history, etc.).

De nombreuses situations professionnelles nous obligent à faire face à nos émotions et à gérer celles des autres. La prise de parole en public est, de ce fait, une discipline hautement émotionnelle : l’orateur alors bombardé d’émotions se retrouve face à des personnes elles-mêmes en recherche d’émotion. Un trac non maîtrisé peut supprimer tout le bénéfice d’un argumentaire. Le trac génère de la fatigue et inhibe les capacités de chacun.

Savoir agir face aux pensées catastrophiques, à l'autocritique, à l'incapacité de se concentrer

I am retired Managing Director from one of the industry's tier one consultancies. After almost 25 years in consulting working with a range of clients in a range of industries such as finance, banking, technology, consumer products, manufacturing, an insurance), I have gained the knowledge, experience, and insights with respect to what it takes to be a good consultant. Coupled with my passion to teach, a TEFL certificate, and almost three years of experience teaching English in Europe, this makes for an informative and effective experience. As a native English speaker from Canada, I know what it takes to learn a language since I speak French (B2), German (B2), and am currently learning Italian (A2).
