I am Maarja (artist name: Marie von Voxel) — a costume designer and 3D artist with over a decade of experience in theatre costume and a recent focus on digital couture. I am a visiting lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Arts and exhibit my work across Europe. I combine a strong practical production background with contemporary digital workflows to help students turn ideas into finished garments and visual stories.

The emphasis is on creativity, safety, and visible progress: each class is designed so a child finishes with a small handmade piece and renewed enthusiasm for design. In addition, I also teach young students digital fashion in an art school setting, preparing them to become the next generation of designers. I keep explanations simple, encourage experimentation, and offer gentle technical instruction so young students feel proud and motivated.

I am a visiting lecturer in Estonian Art Academy, and as an artist, actively exhibiting in Paris and Europe. I am going to give you all the knowledge necessary to become an Artist with strong technical skill set. I guide students through the entire design journey—from mood boards and storytelling to digital sketches, 3D patterns, and photorealistic virtual garments. I can take your artistic ambitions even further, helping you visualize costumes in diverse environments and craft dynamic, creative fashion films. in this class i will teach you how to make a character for videogame. you will be taught how to approach it by using software like zbrush, maya, substance painter, etc
we will start with discussing the concept and then proceed to sketching in zbrush, then we make the costume using Marvelous Designer and/or zbrush, at the same time we will create the gears and any accessories needed for the character, after that we go to maya for retopo, then toolbag for baking, sp for texturing and finally we render it in toolbag
