Expressive arts therapy is the practice of using imagery, storytelling, dance, music, drama, poetry, movement, horticulture, dreamwork, and visual arts together,
in an integrated way, to foster human growth, development, and healing.
It combines psychology and the creative process to promote emotional growth and healing.
We have private online sessions together.
In these classes you can experience self-expression through art.
The focus is on moving freely between different type of art and express the feelings.
We use some different techniques such as

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.

You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns.

Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Are you willing to learn drawing or painting? Do you wish to improve what you already know?

I graduated from an art school where I learned all the important classical techniques of drawing, painting and sculpture. I would like to pass on the knowledge I have acquired through my studies and practice and give those who so wish the opportunity to go on a journey into the world of art and improve their language and technique.
The lessons are open to all levels.

The techniques covered range from drawing with pencil, charcoal and pastel chalk to all painting styles (watercolor, oil, acrylic, tempera). You have the opportunity to experiment on different types of paper (with different weights and colors) and canvases.

The topics change from lesson to lesson and can range from the human body to the landscape to the wildlife, depending on your preferences and desires.

Particular attention is paid to the method so that the finished work is clean, pleasant and as expressive as possible.

Niños: trabajamos con actividades lúdicas y creativas que estimulan la imaginación, el color y la experimentación con diferentes materiales.
Adultos: me enfoco en la técnica, la práctica consciente y la construcción de un estilo propio, respetando el ritmo y objetivos de cada persona.

Enseño diversas disciplinas artísticas: dibujo a lápiz, coloreado, pintura en varias técnicas (acuarela, acrílico, óleo), ilustración digital, así como la creación de personajes y escenarios. Este seminario de 6 clases propone un recorrido profundo por la vida y la obra de Andrei Tarkovski, uno de los directores más grandes e influyentes de la historia del cine.

Clase 1: Biografía y formación
Se abordará su infancia, su crianza en un entorno católico dentro de la Unión Soviética, el contexto social y cultural de la época, su formación como estudiante de cine y sus primeras películas. El objetivo es comprender de dónde nace su mirada artística y espiritual.

Clases 2 a 6: Filmografía y lenguaje cinematográfico
Se realizará un análisis completo de su obra, siguiendo un recorrido cronológico por sus películas para identificar temas, obsesiones y transformaciones a lo largo del tiempo.
Trabajaremos su estilo y lenguaje cinematográfico:
– el tiempo y el ritmo
– las atmósferas
– la memoria
– los símbolos
– lo espiritual
– la construcción de sentido a través de la imagen

También se abordarán dos ejes fundamentales:
– la censura del Estado y su relación conflictiva con las instituciones soviéticas
– la presencia del cristianismo y la espiritualidad en su cine

El seminario está orientado al análisis narrativo, estético y simbólico, no técnico, y busca desarrollar una mirada más profunda y reflexiva sobre el cine de autor.

Está dirigido tanto a personas sin conocimientos previos como a estudiantes, realizadores y amantes del cine que quieran comprender mejor la obra de Tarkovski y su importancia en la historia del cine.
