Discover the beauty of playing piano or keyboard, being able to read a score, composing your own music. Graduated in Classical Piano from an Italian Conservatory and with a Master Degree in "Music Theory and Composition - Scoring for Film and Multimedia" form New York University (US), I am a passionate and patient teacher.

My lesson are tailored according to your needs: you can learn piano technique, interpretation, how to play your favorite song, music theory and solfeggio. Do you need to prepare an exam? I will help you in that. If you would like to compose music, I can teach you the right way to create a melody, to harmonize it, to compose music for single instruments or for orchestra in the style you like.

Have your own piano or keyboard. If you would like to study composition, it would be great if you can use a notation software (Sibelius, Finale, etc.) and a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Logic Pro X, Cubase, Reaper, etc.

Born and raised in Italy, I currently live in London (UK). In the past, I spent many years in New York City (US), where I studied music composition at the Juilliard School of Music and gained a Master in Music Theory and Composition - Scoring for Film and Multimedia from New York University. I am experienced music and piano teacher (I gave children, teenagers and adults (from beginners to advanced) private music and piano lessons for more than 10 years). I also compose music for films, advertisements, documentaries, etc.

I believe the important aspect of being a good teacher is having excellent communication and organizational skills. I also believe that I possess these qualities. I am an enthusiastic, determined, highly motivated and patient teacher.

I think music is emotions and joy, and everyone can learn how to play an instrument or how to sing a song: a music teacher has to help people to experience those emotions and joy. Music is inside everyone, and a good teacher teaches how you can express it.

Instrument Tuition:

Very flexible approach, I will teach based on individual needs. Beginners will learn the basics of the guitar, basic chords, basic scales etc. And advanced players will learn more complex chords, intricate scales, harmonies and improvisation.

If you just want to learn how to play your favourite songs, then I will teach you how to do that. If you want to learn about song writing, I will teach you that. Anything and everything.

Logic Pro X:

Equally as flexible and I will adhere to individual needs, I may need to start from the very basics even for proficient users. I have many years of experience and I graduated from Manchester MIDI School as a specialist in Logic Pro X. I will explain, demonstrate and test students about each subject per lesson.

We will look at MIDI, editing, recording, compression, EQ, Mastering, mixing, time stretching, FX, plugins, remixing, audio design, sound manipulation and so on.
