Indian Classical music/Carnatic music was perhaps the less known forms of music to the world until 2000. Recently, there has been significant efforts and interest by people to know more about it and even learn this form of music because it gives you peace and even makes you a rounded individual when you learn it.

I am a trained classical/Carnatic singer with experience for more than 12 years now. I am open to teaching for any age group from children to adults. I'm sure children will have a great time learning with me and I look forward to sharing with you all the essence this music can offer. When I first started earning, I realized the importance of a good teacher, and only with a good mentor, you can learn the maximum. I am so fortunate I had the opportunity to learn with a great teacher and I wish to reciprocate the same to my students. I am fun to talk to and a very jovial person and also very efficient when it comes to working. I can teach Carnatic music in a fun-filled manner and I look forward to sharing with my 12 years of experience in this field.

I did my Bachelors' in Biotechnology at SASTRA University, India and was working for a year at Zifo RnD Solutions, India and I'm currently pursuing Master's in Molecular Biology, Lund university - Karolinska Institutet.

I started learning Classical music since I was 5 and learned for 12 years with various gurus. Since 2013, I have been teaching music to kids of the age 5-15.

My name is Norbert and i am 25 years old. I finished my violin Bachelor degree on University for Music and performing Arts in Graz. I have been playing the violin since i was 4 years old and i have a big musical background since I come from a musician family. I have experience in private violin lessons and also i worked in a private music school for 2 years. I have been teaching children from 5 years old, teenagers and adults as well. I can teach violin on all levels from beginner to advanced. I have a flexible schedule and also a B driver license so it is possible to have the lessons either at my place or at your home. My piano class is designed for students who wish to develop as complete musicians, not only as technicians. The work is centered on building a solid technical foundation, a deep understanding of musical structure, and the ability to make independent, thoughtful interpretative decisions.
Technical work is approached systematically and intelligently, always in direct relation to repertoire. Sound production, control of touch, balance, voicing, articulation, and efficient movement at the keyboard are fundamental elements of the lessons. Technical issues are never treated mechanically, but as tools serving musical intention.
A strong emphasis is placed on score reading and musical understanding: harmony, form, counterpoint, rhythm, and stylistic awareness. Students are guided to understand why a piece works the way it does, not only how to play it. This analytical clarity allows for freedom, confidence, and consistency in performance.
Interpretation is approached with respect for the text and historical context, while encouraging the student to develop a personal and honest musical voice. Different stylistic periods—from Baroque to contemporary music—are addressed with appropriate aesthetic and technical considerations.
Lessons are demanding but supportive. The goal is to help each student progress at their own pace, while cultivating discipline, curiosity, and artistic responsibility. The class is suitable for students who are motivated, open-minded, and willing to engage deeply with the music.
Ultimately, the aim is not only preparation for exams, auditions, or concerts, but the formation of a musician who can think independently, practice efficiently, and maintain a lifelong, meaningful relationship with music.
