Hello! I'm Yu-Min, a professional jazz guitarist currently studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (KCB). Before coming to Belgium, I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Performance in Taiwan.

I offer personalized guitar lessons for students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced players who want to dive deep into jazz improvisation.

What you can expect from my classes:
1. For Beginners: Learn the basics of strumming, chords, and playing your favorite songs in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
2. For Intermediate/Advanced: Deep dive into harmony, scales, improvisation techniques, and jazz standards.

Hello! I am Yu-Min, a dedicated jazz guitarist and music educator currently based in Brussels. My musical journey began in Taiwan and has brought me to the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (KCB) to further refine my craft.

I believe that learning music should be a fun and rewarding experience. As a teacher, I am patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I don't just teach you how to play; I help you understand why music works the way it does.

Whether you are a beginner picking up the guitar for the first time or an advanced player looking to explore jazz improvisation, I would love to be part of your musical journey. I teach in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his DIDACTIC MASTER in 2018 at the École Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Previously, he also completed a MASTER OF INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq.
He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente.

Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. This type of research could be observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of human needs where he mixed live, recorded music, dance, light shows and effects under the name: “according to Maslow... ”

In terms of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo performances, duo, trio, quartet, orchestra...) and different countries such as Japan (Artisanal Musical Fair "Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (Festival Musiq3 2016), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016...), France (Dax chamber music festival 2011) or Spain (Music Festival “Quincena Musical” 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Festival Kutxa 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

I can show you so many different styles like Latin, Bossanova, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Raggae and many othes. with Acoustic, folk or electric guitar, Also i use to talk in my classes about basic music theory for a complete learning of the guitar.

I know a fairly wide repertoire of music and master the basics of music theory or what we could call the musical 'theory' of the guitar. If certain pupils are interested in learning by an equally theoretical route, the teaching will be adapted accordingly. But if you prefer to learn the songs as they are, there is no problem, we will go straight to the point!

During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

Folklore from the south of the world – Music Lesson

I am Chilean and I am fan and player of the music of the southern cone: Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Specifically I can help you learn tango, cueca, milonga, murga, boleros and tonadas. To a lesser extent I can help to learn Afro-Peruvian and bossa nova.

The lessons I offer can include musical practice, rhythms, progressions and typical melodies, as well as the study of the history of the musical genres and the culture associated with them.

If you want to nurture your career as a musician with other genres or if you are an amateur musician with an interest in music from the south of the world, these lessons are for you. If you are not a musician and simply want to approach the study of the culture, I can also provide books, articles and videos relating to it.

I would love to contribute to the further dissemination of this folklore that I love so much.

I’m Rodrigo, a pianist and educator offering personalized piano lessons at home for students of all levels. With over 10 years of experience teaching at the National University of Arts in Buenos Aires and private students, I bring my experience to my lessons. I hold a Master’s in Piano from the National University of Arts in Buenos Aires and currently doing a Master's in Piano Chamber Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Liège and an Advanced Master in Contemporary Music from KASK Conservatorium Gent. Giovanna raised and formed in Florence, where she began her guitar studies at the age of five at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. In September, she graduated cum laude and she's currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, studying with Antigoni Goni.

Winner of many international competitions, she performed plenty of times in Italy and in 2023 she has held a solo concert in Milan for the XXXVIII Società Umanitaria's concerts season. Next to renowned guitarists, such as Luigi Attademo and Giorgio Albiani, she performed the world premiere of Álvaro Company’s Concert Català for ten guitars, in the revision by Vincenzo Saldarelli.

Alongside her performing activity, Giovanna has developed a strong dedication to teaching adults, children, and teenagers. She tailors each learning path to the individual student, carefully balancing personal interests with technical and artistic development, whether for amateur musicians or students preparing for conservatory admission. Her teaching approach places particular emphasis on physical awareness and well-being, guiding students toward healthy and efficient use of the body while playing. Music theory is fully integrated into her lessons and is always connected to practical application on the instrument.
