Hello 🙂
I am Dario, an Italian Berlin-based guitar teacher teaching in English, Spanish, and Italian.
I am offering private classes for individuals looking to:

Improve their playing technique
Find their feel with the instrument
Learn how to write songs
Learn how to improvise
Work on stage presence
Work on the interpretation of songs

In my classes we can focus on:
both left and right-hand technique
Songwriting
Improvisation

Psychology of playing
Body & Breathing Awareness Through Meditation

My sessions are open to singers of all levels and backgrounds and with all genre preferences (I *am* specialize in classical, pop, bossa nova, and jazz).

I offer sessions to all interested individuals, where we will together assess where you are at, and what you want to work towards. I will adapt my teaching to what can benefit you better: my job is to walk beside you and guide you through your own process of self-discovery and exploration, not only working on the guitar itself but also on the emotional implications of playing, often a very vulnerable act of giving and opening up.

I studied classical guitar at the Conservatorio di Musica Italy, and have a Bachelor's in International Relations.
I have a certificate in Public Speaking Technique and attended various guitar masterclasses. I have been working as a professional guitarist, singer, and event organizer in Berlin. I also work as a professional podcaster and podcast editor.

Hi my name is Anne.

I play the violin and the viola and I have studied at the conservatory at ArtEZ Jazz & Pop.

During my studies I started to build by violin teacher practice. Apart from my private students I taught at the music school "Muziekdorp" in Wijchen and coached a band of high school students for a year.
Next to teaching I play concerts with the "Metropole Academy", I have a string quartet "The Four Frogs in te Woods", and I'm playing in a Folk string duo.

Students of all ages and categories are welcome in my lesson.
Classical, Folk, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and free improvisation are some of the genres you can discover in our lessons.
I did a Teacher Training with the American Violinist Mark O'Connor and finished this training with a diploma. His method is a very beautiful and comprehensive way to learn the variety of the violinistic possibilities.

We will play a lot of music together.
Starting with a correct violin posture you will develop a brought variety of techniques to find your own style.

Being able to play an instrument is an enrichment for everyone!

Hi there! I'm a professional, award-winning guitarist with over 18 years of experience playing Jazz, Blues, Funk, Pop, and Finger-style. I have worked internationally as a bandleader, accompanist, and solo performer.

My approach to teaching is very pragmatic, time-efficient, and fun and I prefer not to overwhelm students with too much information or technical exercises. I believe that the number one priority both in playing and teaching music should be enjoyment, and that's why I tailor each lesson to the uniqueness of each student, making sure that we are learning about things that YOU want to learn about and moving towards YOUR unique goals.
I look forward to hearing from you and learning together!

My teaching is also informed by years of research into areas such as neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and meditation. This background has allowed me to develop a truly holistic approach to music, one which promises not only faster improvement, but also greater musical EASE, ENJOYMENT, and CREATIVITY.

I view teaching vocals and songwriting as a therapeutic, holistic process, where my students learn techniques and practical tools that help them hone their craft, but also work through psychological blockages that make them into greater artists.

Like with languages, intuition plays a huge part in learning an instrument. Most often in music, the correct choice will the the one that ~feels~ the most natural. This is what my teachers, from when I was a kid, all the way to the end of my studies at the conservatory, have prioritized in lessons; Working less hard to sound better.

I’m here to help you in the same way, to decipher with you certain sounds, certain gestures in recorder playing, so that we can map out together your skill set, and eventually find your own style of play.

When it comes to the grammar part of music, I’m ready to teach you everything about reading notes, intervals, chords, and all the principles of music theory, with examples and fun exercises.

I am a very patient person, and have experience with beginners as well as “matured” amateurs :)

I hold a masters in early music, along with a bachelors in classical composition.

My dream is to live from composition mainly, writing music for concerts, film and ballet. Currently I’m working on a ballet commission from the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, and more original music for a series of concerts next summer in France.

My favorite composers are Bartok... and a bunch of anonymous medieval ones.
