Hello!
I am an experienced artist and educator from the U.K. Educated at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, I have also studied at the Royal Drawing School. Completing their Drawing Intensive program. I worked for a company in London teaching art workshops and then independently here in Berlin.
My skills focus on drawing, painting, and printmaking. I am also skilled in areas of art history and theory (with an emphasis on 20th and 21st century).
I am able to help students develop exhibitions and portfolio preparation . Students with an interest in working more conceptually are also welcomed.
I always help students to contextualise their work, i provide books as source material. I am also able to set reading for the class, where applicable. We can also work on ongoing projects, such as a children’s book.
I am interested in technique but also in the individual idiosyncratic ways each individual makes work.
Art should be therapeutic too and I always make sure to design classes at the appropriate level.
Art has always been my focus in life and I can’t wait to share my skills and enthusiasm with you. My classes also offer children a good opportunity to communicate and improve in English.

Materials provided, with few exceptions, I may ask a student to bring an object for example.
I speak B1 German so can only work in German with very young German artists :-)

Hello I am a 35 year old visual artist and writer in Berlin. I am energetic and personable and have always worked in arts and education.
Alongside making art I am wildly enthusiastic about talking about it, looking at it, and learning.
Some of my favourite artists include Rosemarie Trockel, Dieter Roth, Otto Dix, and Roni Horn.
In London I taught art at after school clubs and workshops in the school holidays.
