Hello! My name is Olivia, I am an English teacher in Beijing China.
I am TEFL certified. I teach children from ages 1-8 English, I love what I do and I love seeing my students grow and develop their skills.
Even though I prefer teaching children I am also available to help students with essays, grammar and punctuation.

-High School Diploma recieved -I went to Camosun College to study Sport Management. While studying at College I was able to teach kids how to play sports and work in a team environment, watching my students learn inspired me to come to China to teach!

Class is fun and entertaining. I like to teach through doing activities such as making masks, coloring objects in to not only learn the colors but to learn the names of the objects. After learning the basics we can work on simple sentences.
If you or your child has a better understanding of the English language I can asses and do more advanced things with yourself or your child. I can work with all levels of English. If you have something you want to focus on to help your development I am open to anything you have to say and will tailor my lesson plan to accommodate your goals

I can help you reach fluency and native-level English and Spanish through a comprehensive approach based on linguistic theory. We will learn how to study without textbooks, instead learning usable English through the use of media, art, literature, and your own interests!

To learn a language, you must be interested in the material we will cover, so the lesson planning will revolve around your hobbies and passions, and you will learn from slang to academic language skills. If you enjoy politics, philosophy, or literature, I am the teacher for you.
