I see many students doing maths like learning by heart the solution for a type of problem and when the problem is modified a bit they have no idea how to deal with it anymore. Solving maths problems is not about getting the formulas as in a cookbook, it's about understanding the problems, brainstorming to find a way to work out the problems. I don't tell my student what to do to solve a problem and move on to the next, instead, I try to teach them the way to analyze, understand, and brainstorm themself...
I can offer either ‘long-term’ tutoring, where I see a student regularly, for an hour or so a week to help them keep up with their course, or ‘intensive’ tutoring, where I see the student many times a week for a short time.

Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University Autònoma de Barcelona. I have a strong background in mathematics and experience in tutoring secondary and high school students.
