This class is for people who want to improve their English speaking skills. My Goal is to make my students learn English like a native, hence my students are only allowed to talk in English with me. I use a lot of external material in my class such as books, movie clips, and university lectures to help my students understand the language thoroughly. I also give regular homework to my students which usually are worksheets, movies, and books in accordance to their language level.

Hi,
I love math, rock music, and I love learning, I like to read books and articles and understand new concepts. I like to challenge my brain. I love teaching just as much. I think that teaching should be more student-centric in order to obtain the best result because learning is more about learner than it is about the teacher. Therefore, my lessons are full of problems, so we can find any gaps in learning and rectify them. I tend to teach my students how to learn themselves along with the contents of the lesson.

High School Mathematics, IGCSE and A-Level prep, SAT prep and advice

This class is for students who want to improve their mathematical skills for school or for exams like GCE A-level and SAT. My goal is to not only prepare students for specific exams but also help them strengthen their skills for the future. I assign homework to my students regularly and analyse their mistakes to understand points where we need to work on. We work on these points with assistance from Khan Academy, an online non-profit learning platform.

Do you want to learn French, English or German or all three at the same time? No problem everything is possible, working step by step together, you will acquire a solid foundation in each of the languages. You will also have fun through these language courses to discover the culture of the country, because it is not only about learning words, and spitting them out one after the other, but to enjoy talking and arguing around a subject that pleases us.

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

I hold firmly to two main principles: creating a comfortable space for learning and building an encouraging atmosphere.

My students often describe me as patient, positive, and well-organised. Over time, I’ve found my own way of making Turkish feel easier, more enjoyable, and more practical to learn.

I love shaping each lesson around my students’ interests, needs, and learning styles. I adapt my teaching to the needs of students with special conditions, such as ADHD and OCD.

In my lessons, you’ll never feel afraid of making mistakes. Before long, you’ll start noticing them on your own and correcting yourself naturally.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

I strive not only toward my students' improvement, but also to make sure that they learn how to learn a language by themselves.
That can be done from a very young age and it is a very useful skill, that helped me learn German and Spanish without any proper lesson. I am now learning Turkish.

I was born in Berlin and lived there for years. At this point in time, I am studying German translation studies at the Istanbul University in Istanbul. I can also offer courses with you as a beginner or at an intermediate level. We will also master grammar and speaking together.
