Hi there!

I’m Ana, a Graphic Designer with 8 years experience with several design studios and 6 years experience as a teacher in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign for an international school in Amsterdam.

With my lessons I will teach you the skills you need to make amazing graphics and illustrations. We’ll cover the importance of designing for different media and sizes and the importance of typography in the visual arts and how to play with this. We’ll cover different color spaces, Pantones and preparing documents for print (final art), and much more..

Lessons will be tailored made to your level (from beginner till intermediate level) and your particular interests (online, print, etc).

My lessons consists of prepared tasks and hand-outs and will contain weekly homework.
I teach in English or Spanish.

I teach at my house (Amsterdam city center) where we’ll study on an iMac + laptop which have the latest versions of the software. I can also come to your home. In that case I add € 5 p/h for travel and you’ll need to provide a computer with valid Adobe software.

With InDesign you can create a wide range of publications like brochures, flyers, magazines, books or even online forms and portfolios. We’ll cover all these options and explain the use of linked images and auto-updating content. We’ll discuss lay-out options and rules, the many typographical options and smart ways to use Master Pages to quickly set-up professional looking publications and much more... So whenever your goal is to create a stunning looking CV or a profesional 200-page textbook, these lessons will give you the skills and confident to use InDesign as a tool to reach these goals.

You'll learn how to make selections, create masks, retouching portraits and use advanced techniques to not only improve photographs but to turn them into entirely new images.

I am a professional art director with twenty years of experience. I live in a studio-atelier and often host dogs for dogsitting services. Obviously, during the lessons, there will be no pets but is better you know for some allergic problem.

Do you want to edit your photos professionally or make new creations in Photoshop?

In a few private lessons I will teach you all the important skills, so that you can do everything you want.

I am an (art) photographer and teacher and I have been giving private Photoshop lessons for over 12 years.

Private lessons are available in the afternoon and evening and on Saturdays. I teach via video calling or personally in Amsterdam East.

I tailor the lessons to your needs, interests and pace so that you effectively learn what you want. I work with a minimum of two hours per lesson. Longer lessons at a time are of course also possible. Ask about special student/package prices.

In short, do you want to be able to Photoshop professionally quickly and affordably. Please contact me via the Apprentus website. And of course you can also outsource all your Photoshop work to me.
