My name is Matija and I'm an Imperial College Biochemistry graduate, currently conducting a PhD at King's College London. My past 4 years of teaching have been an immensely rewarding endeavour, allowing me to convey my love for science onto tutees and assist them in overcoming the sometimes difficult, laborious process of mastering GCSE/A level exam technique.

I am a researching collaborator in power electronics and I studied a master's degree in industrial engineering. I love to teach everything I have learned, in a structured and methodical way. I am a second year Physics Undergraduate reading at Oxford University and am able to tutor maths and physics at varying levels. I have lots of experience tutoring and am passionate about helping students to really understand the topics of maths and physics.

This class is aimed at secondary school students, particularly those who have important GCSE or A Level exams coming up next year and feel they have missed out on critical lessons due to COVID 19

An initial assessment of the level of understanding of my students is very important. This enables me know where to start/continue with them. By this I can move them from known to unknown.
It is very important to state that my approach is altogether student-centered. Different students have different needs which are peculiar to them. I believe that student satisfaction and value gained for money is achieved when individualised needs are met.

I give tutoring and lessons in math and German, from beginners to native speakers. I passed my high school diploma with a grade of 1.0 in Hesse and my law degree with top marks. I have been giving tutoring for over five years, especially in German and math.

A highly motivated, responsible, and hardworking individual with a passion for languages, which has driven me to become proficient in up to three languages (German as my native language, English C2 and Italian B2).
