This course is designed for people who wish to refine their Spanish skills. The curriculum can be reconfigured to each individual student's comfort levels and needs. The material was derived from A1 Spanish curricula. Students will learn basic grammar, key vocabulary, and phrases most helpful when taking a trip or asking for assistance. This is a buildable course and is appropriate for all ages. Information about the teacher: Kate is a Master's student in Georgetown University's Conflict Resolution program. She recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Miami University with a B.A. in International Studies, specializing in Conflict, Peace, and Diplomacy along with Spanish and Latin American studies. Kate has 10 years of experience tutoring with the most recent experience being during her role as a Youth Outreach Officer with the Red Cross in Sevilla, Spain. She derives great passion out of instilling her love of learning and knowledge acquisition to students and finds nothing more rewarding than reaching that "aha" moment of breakthrough during tutoring.
