I specialize in teaching maths at secondary school but have also worked as an LSA working with special needs children of all ages. Over the last year, I have tutored many students and helped them achieve their goals in mathematics but also supported them in revision skills for other subjects. My steps for success is identifying misconceptions and giving students confidence that they can improve their skills no matter where they are starting from. I do this by focusing on procedural and conceptual understanding but maintain a calm approach to encourage communication.
