Je m’appelle Luena, je suis franco-portugaise et j’étudie actuellement la médecine dentaire à l’IUCS de CESPU. J’ai toujours aimé les sciences et le fait d’expliquer les choses aux autres, c’est pourquoi j’ai décidé de donner des cours pour aider à progresser.

J’ai obtenu mon Baccalauréat Français International (BFI) au Lycée International de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, avec les spécialités Maths et SVT, et la mention Très Bien. Grâce à mon parcours, j’ai développé une bonne méthode de travail et plein d’astuces que j’aime transmettre pour apprendre plus facilement et efficacement.

Je peux donner des cours de français, maths et SVT, du collège au lycée. Mes cours sont simples, dynamiques et adaptés à chacun : je prends le temps d’expliquer différemment jusqu’à ce que tout soit clair. L’objectif, c’est non seulement de progresser, mais aussi de se sentir plus à l’aise et même de prendre plaisir à apprendre !

Hello everyone! My name is Rafael. I have been teaching online and locally for over two years and I really enjoy it! I'm currently studying for my Ph.D.

If you are a parent who reads my profile, I do my best to make math enjoyable for students. It is a very difficult subject and sometimes students just need a boost of confidence and learn the basics. Je me spécialise dans les cours privés en fonction des demandes des étudiants. Il est très important pour moi de garder les étudiants heureux et de profiter de l'apprentissage. Je leur enseigne également une certaine culture afin de mieux comprendre la langue. J'enseigne le français et le portugais IGCSE ainsi que les niveaux A et IB, je crois en l'enseignement organique et en l'inclusion de la langue dans la vie réelle. Mes étudiants viennent d'un milieu multiculturel et ont l'habitude d'être ouverts d'esprit. Je leur apprends à être citoyens du monde, c'est pourquoi il est très important d'apprendre une langue étrangère, afin de se sentir à l'aise partout où ils vont.

During my high school education in Portugal, I found myself unchallenged and unmotivated by the math curriculum. Seven years later, as a mathematician at the beginning of my academic career, I think I'm an ideal tutor for students in a similar position—interested in math but not quite finding what they need at school. I'm also available to help more advanced students (from university or beyond) who need advice and direction on university-level topics. Additionally, I'm happy to help adults who need help restarting their mathematical education or filling in gaps in their understanding.

I'm interested in talking about anything mathematical, from linear inequalities to Hilbert's Nullstellensatz. I'm also familiar with computer science, both in theory and practice. I can easily take the reins and "lecture" on most topics but would prefer to steer towards whatever the student finds interesting. En tant qu'erasmus de passage à Porto, je souhaiterais partager mes connaissances en français avec des portugais. Le français est ma première langue, et je parle couramment anglais. Je ne parle cependant pas très bien portugais.
Les cours de français consisteraient à faire des petits exercices de conjugaisons et de grammaire, mais aussi des cours sur la culture française. Je tiens à faire en sorte que les cours soient plutôt ludiques, car pour moi c'est la meilleure manière d'apprendre une langue.
