Je m'appelle Cyprien et j'ai 19 ans, je joue de la basse depuis plusieurs années. J'ai joué avec différents groupes dans différents styles de musiques. Je souhaite donner des cours à des élèves débutants et intermédiaires pour les aider à progresser et développer un jeu de basse qui leur est propre.

Opleiding

J'ai suivi des cours de basse avec un professeur particulier qui m'a appris beaucoup de chose très efficacement, j'ai aussi une formation en ligne pour compléter mes connaissances. Pour ce qui est de la théorie musicale j'ai suivi deux semestres de musicologie à l'université de lorraine afin de mieux comprendre la théorie et l'histoire de la musique.

J'ai joué avec plusieurs groupes et j'ai donné des concerts. Tout d'abord dans un groupe de gospel, puis avec un groupe de musique irlandaise. J'ai aussi joué dans d'autre style comme le jazz et le hard rock.

Tout le monde est le bienvenu: débutants et avancés. Votre niveau d'entrée n'a pas d'importance. Jouer de la guitare basse est ma spécialisation et je peux enseigner beaucoup à tout le monde. Au cours d'une leçon d'essai, nous examinons ce que vous pouvez déjà faire et ce que vous aimeriez apprendre, quelles sont vos inspirations et qui sont vos idoles. À partir de là, nous élaborons un plan et donnons du contenu à la leçon.

Bâle: qu'apprends-tu?
En consultation avec vous, je donne du contenu à la leçon. Ensemble, nous verrons quels styles musicaux, groupes et artistes vous aimez. Nous pouvons ensuite choisir des chansons qui correspondent à votre niveau et à vos ambitions et je vais vous apprendre à jouer ces chansons. Sur la base des chansons et d'un livre de méthodes, je vais vous enseigner ce qui suit:

Le style et le niveau des cours dépendent bien sûr de l'élève. L'un veut chanter et pouvoir s'accompagner, l'autre veut apprendre à improviser. Blues, rock, funk, soul, fusion, flamenco, hip hop, mambo, reggae, folk, bossa, disco, ska, samba, tango, classique, pop... pas de problème, ce qui compte c'est que vous vous amusiez dans le to jouer.

Je ferai des transcriptions de votre musique préférée et vous montrerai comment la jouer, enseignerai une technique solide pour que vous puissiez progresser et donnerai de la théorie par petites étapes pour que vous puissiez voir comment tout cela s'emboîte.

We can organize the lessons in a way that suit to the student needs. Them can be of one hour, thirty minutes, once a week or two weeks. I usually like spending some additional time in case by talking about music, students goals and their achievements.

I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Jazz Double Bass from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
I regularly perform live with various projects in prestigious venues and jazz clubs, and I have recorded bass on 15 albums, (jazz and pop), on both double bass and electric bass.

I have years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
I also worked with the organization Memo, performing interactive shows in kindergartens.
