TECHNOLOGIES AT THE SERVICE OF LEARNING.

My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literature since 2012. I have eight years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created a learning method for online courses. I have been preparing students for the DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, admission exams, etc. for several years.

The course includes:
-The material (articles, videos, exercises based on images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises, etc.). I use google doc, so the ideal is to have a gmail address to be able to access it.
-Correction of exercises outside the course (written expressions are corrected outside the course, or with the student, depending on their needs).
-Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone.
-A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar/conjugation, sent after each lesson.
-If necessary, a recording of the vocabulary (for beginners).
-Carrying out online exercises and tests based on the vocabulary sheets sent.
-Motivation, laughter, good humor :-)

My method:
-It is oral based.
-For grammar, I use a particular method which allows oral structures to be automated.
-We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises to pose your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-)
-Everything goes through the oral before going through the writing but I obviously adapt to the needs of the students.
-The course is a little different for children and teenagers: I use interactive games and cards via the webcam.

At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.

I have a FPELE certificate: Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher Training. And I have taught A1 to B2 level at a language institute in Spain.
