About Me

Learning a new language is not easy and therefore requires the right support. Helping you to make progress and to learn new things is a chance for me to contribute to your success but also to use English and French outside of university classes. Whether it be for you or for me, practice makes perfect! I consider languages to be a powerful tool, which enables you to open many doors in life, so in the end some kind of special power!

Education

I have been interested in languages for as long as I can remember. In my secondary school, I chose to study Latin, French (as a native language), English and German. Therefore I chose the same path for my bachelor's degree at university. I recently graduated from the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation in Mons with a degree focusing on English and German languages, which lead me to master a higher level of French (the sound basis of translation) and English.

Experience / Qualifications

I was lucky to experience several study abroad stays to help me to put the theory into practice.
- Immersion in English during a stay in Broadstairs (England) in 2016: lessons taught only in English at the KSE (Kent School of English).
- Erasmus in Innsbruck (Austria) for the spring semester of 2023: cultural studies and writing classes in English. I was also involved in many erasmus activities in English + some translation classes from/into French (focus on wording and on the mistakes to avoid while writing in French).
