My name is Patricia. I'm a certified native Spanish teacher. I've been teaching Spanish and English as foreign languages since 2004, and I've fallen in love with my job a little more every year :)

I studied Spanish Philology and Literature and learned how to become a teacher at Universidad Nacional de Salta, Argentina. I've also completed a specific ELE training certification from Universidad Europea Madrid, and I'm certified as DELE examiner by Instituto Cervantes.

I'm a committed, responsible, and professional individual who is always eager to learn new things and is continually engaged in ongoing training. My patience knows no limits, and I can find a thousand ways to explain something if necessary.

I can make a course specifically tailored for you, according to your knowledge, needs, interests, and requests. In more than 20 years of teaching, I've never given the same course twice. I can compile and produce custom-made study material for you. Since I'm passionate about Spanish, I've studied its different varieties around the world, so I can guarantee that with my classes, you'll be able to have a proper conversation in any Spanish-speaking country.

Over the years, I've worked with a wide variety of students, from young adults to adults, from complete beginners to proficient people who just wanted to practice speaking. I also help students prepare for the DELE exams, I've done so in the past with excellent results.

I create a learning experience (content and pace) adapted to your needs: speaking fluently, DELF/ DALF test preparation, conversations to help with travel or relocation or simply the pleasure of talking about subjects you are interested in. We can have our lessons in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying various aspects of learning a language. It's not just about memorizing complex conjugations!

I work with a variety of online resources, all of which is shared with you after the lesson. For structure and to evaluate progress, I also work with certain books depending on the level and the requirement. Unless you wish to focus on specific skills, I try to include speaking, listening and reading during the session, while writing exercises are given as homework. Grammar points are handled as and when they come up.

LES TECHNOLOGIES AU SERVICE DE L'APPRENTISSAGE.

Bonjour,

Je m’appelle Laurie et je suis professeur de FLE indépendante, diplômée en Langues et Littératures françaises et romanes depuis 2012. J’ai huit ans d’expérience à mon actif (à l’étranger et en Belgique). J’ai créé une méthode d’apprentissage pour les cours en ligne. Je prépare les élèves aux examens DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, examen d'admission, etc. depuis plusieurs années.

Le cours inclut:
-Le matériel (articles, vidéos, exercices à partir d’images et de textes, théorie grammaticale, liens vers les exercices...). J’utilise google doc, l’idéal est donc d’avoir une adresse gmail pour pouvoir y accéder.
-La correction des exercices en dehors du cours (les expressions écrites sont corrigées en dehors du cours, ou avec l’élève, en fonction de ses besoins).
-L’accès à une application (gratuitement) pour étudier le vocabulaire sur votre smartphone.
-Une fiche de vocabulaire - prononciation - grammaire/conjugaison, envoyée après chaque cours.
-Si nécessaire, un enregistrement du vocabulaire (pour les débutants).
-La réalisation d’exercices en ligne et de tests à partir des fiches de vocabulaires envoyées.
-De la motivation, des rires, de la bonne humeur :-)

Ma méthode:
-Elle est basée sur l’oral.
-Pour la grammaire, j’utilise une méthode particulière qui permet d'automatiser les structures à l'oral.
-Nous travaillons la prononciation avec la méthode verbotonal (exercices pour poser sa voix, pour la rythmique, etc.). Je te ferai même peut-être chanter! :-)
-Tout passe par l’oral avant de passer par l’écrit mais je m’adapte évidemment aux besoins des élèves.
-Le cours est un peu différent pour les enfants et adolescents: j’utilise des jeux interactifs et des cartes via la webcam.

J'aime utiliser différentes méthodes pour enseigner le français aux étudiants. Cela peut être à travers des chansons, du théâtre, des jeux de rôle ou des vidéos. J'utilise aussi très souvent des situations proches de l'expérience de l'élève, comme décrire des endroits où il a été ou parler de ce qu'il a vécu. En même temps, j'enseigne les règles de grammaire à l'élève. Je vis maintenant dans des régions où le français est parlé depuis plus de 30 ans. Parce que j'ai moi-même appris le français ( et j’apprends encore d'autres langues), je peux facilement me mettre à la place d'un étudiant. Je peux enseigner en français, néerlandais, anglais, allemand et russe.

Si votre enfant a des difficultés à l'école, je serais ravie de pouvoir l'aider à les surmonter.
J'ai eu l'opportunité de travailler dans plusieurs ASBL (Schola ULB, Club de Jeuness, CIFA, ABEF) où j'aidais des jeunes adolescents à comprendre leur matière en français. Je les aidais aussi à préparer leurs examens, dont le CEB et le CE1D.
On travaillera ensemble sur leurs cours, on repassera en revue le vocabulaire et la grammaire qu'ils ont besoin de connaitre et on travaillera sur leurs difficultés afin de les surmonter.
En vue de la situation actuelle, je donne cours uniquement en ligne.
