I am Effie. I am a Greek primary school teacher and I have been giving Greek lessons in public schools that are located in Athens for 9 years. I am a certified primary school teacher from University of Thessaly. My first Master's Degree was in Special Education and my second one in teaching Greek as a second language for refugees and migrants. I have 8 years experience in teaching Greek in Special Education and 2 years experience in teaching Greek for refugees and migrants. I have seen that is really important to adjust the learning goals on students' interests as the lesson to become more funny for them and give them opportunities to use their creativity playing roles in the class or creating a story. Digital tools also make the learning process more interactive. Often I start the lesson bringing in the class items that have to tell us a story and students take the item as a hero and they create a scenario that becomes a part of a bigger project that is linked to other subjects students have been taught at the same period.
