- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and putting the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course, and for each lesson, I send students the files that I scan from the various books. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them.
In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. My suggestion of a well planned lesson is, for any level, to divide it into two parts: grammar first and then conversation (covering all the abilities mentioned above).

Bei Anfängern und unteren Mittelstufen bevorzuge ich die Verwendung eines Lehrbuchs/Schülerbuchs im ersten Teil des Unterrichts. Normalerweise verwende ich „Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano“ und „Arrivederci“ von Edilingua oder „Nuovo Espresso“ und „Dieci“ von Alma Publishing. Für den zweiten Teil der Lektion erstelle ich ansprechende Inhalte mit Originalvideos, Presseartikeln, Auszügen aus Blogs und sozialen Medien sowie literarischen Texten. Wenn sich die Schüler nicht wohl fühlen, Italienisch von Grund auf zu beherrschen, kann ich auf Englisch, Deutsch oder Niederländisch wechseln. In der Kursgebühr ist die Korrektur von Hausaufgaben enthalten.
