I specialize in tutoring students and young adults in English at beginner to intermediate levels in Shanghai, China. My goal is to keep students engaged, on-task and immersed in their English learning process, and to help them achieve their desired goals. In lessons, I typically focus on the four key skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking), varying the structure of lessons in accordance with the preferences and needs of specific students. I have experienced teaching English to middle schoolers, high schoolers and working adults, and follow established syllabi such as those from the BBC, Cambridge International and the British Council. I am fluent in both English and Chinese, but the class will be taught primarily in English. If you have financial difficulties, let me know and we can work something out.
