Hey I'm Ria. I'm a 25 year old foreigner living in Shanghai for the past 6 years.

I am proficient in teaching children aged from 2-3 years old up to 14 years. I also have several months of experience in assisting adults by conducting one on one classes for Interview preparation as well as improving communication skills via online and offline sessions.

I have a lot of experience in teaching one to one classes, smaller groups as well as larger groups of up to 12 students to help improve English and gain confidence in speaking, as I believe that is one of the main ways to improve language skills. I have experience with preparing lesson plans, class tests (spelling tests, quizzes etc.) as well as providing feedback to the parents.

I aim to bring an interactive, creative and imaginative environment for children to ensure that their interest in the language grows.

I aim to bring an interactive, creative, and imaginative environment for children and adult students to ensure that their interest in the language grows. My one to one classes are tailored for each individual student with regard to their personality. This helps them to be more interested in the teaching material and the class in general. . After my classes, my students have gained much confidence in expressing themselves in English, whether it comes to their writing or oral abilities. I have experience with preparing lesson plans, class tests (spelling tests, quizzes etc.) as well as providing feedback to the parents. I also have plenty of personal experience with public speaking which enables me to help my students better with being able to speak with more confidence

I am able to provide tutoring lessons for English speaking students on an intermediate level as well as beginning classes for individuals who are only starting off with the language. As I am full language proficiency in English I am also able to teach grammar and essay writing.
The classes are going to be interactive. At the beginner level, we will be learning to read, write and focus on the grammar.
At an intermediate level, we will be focused more on analysis, essay writing tips, the structure of writing.
