Teaching singing is like being an observer in a way, where the teacher needs to carefully observe what the student is doing for his/her production of the voice and give instruction on how to improve the good ones and let go of the bad ones.
Every student has their own individual challenges on producing their voices and as teachers it is our pleasure to be part of their development.

My name is Priscila I am a singer, I have a Master's degree in singing at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I obtained my bachelor's degree in classical singing at the Dramatic and Music Conservatory of São Paulo in Brazil.

Also in Brazil, I continued my musical studies at the Opera Studio of the Escola de Música do Estado de São Paulo and I studied the repertoire at the Escola Municipal de Música with CaioFerraz, Marizilda Hein and Gilberto Chaves.

I took part in the master classes of José van Dam (Belgium), Christine Schweitzer (France), Juan Pons (Spain), Graciela Araya (Chile), Luiz Lima (Argentina), Luiza Giannini (Italy), Alicia Nafé (Argentina) and CesarTello (Argentina) I also attended Nadine Denize's classes in Paris.

I started as a professional in the "Amsterdam Chamber Opera", I sang in the opera "The Human Voice" of Francis Poulenc and "Herzog BlaubartsBurg" of Bela Bartok and I also sang Richard Wagner Wesendonck Lieder in Argentina with the Argentinian driver Cesar Tello.

After a lot of high class competitions, I won the first prize in the "Maria Callas" contest in 2009 in Sao Paulo, Brazil and was semi-finalist in the competition "Competizione dell'Opera" (2014). ) in Linz, Austria.

Since my arrival in Europe (2012), I have played Maddalena in Verdi's Rigoletto (2013), Zita in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi (2014) and other concerts as a soloist.

I am a student, 22 years old, at the conservatory and I have been into music since a very young age. I have quite a bit of experience with children, I taught as a volunteer in a primary school in Peru and I did a lot of babysitting here in Brussels.

The clarinet is a single-reed musical instrument in the woodwind family, with a nearly cylindrical bore and a flared bell.

Clarinets comprise a family of instruments of differing sizes and pitches. The clarinet family is the largest woodwind family, ranging from the BB♭ contrabass to the E♭ soprano. The B♭ soprano clarinet is the most common type, and is the instrument usually indicated by the word "clarinet".

German instrument maker Johann Christoph Denner is generally credited with inventing the clarinet sometime around the year 1700 by adding a register key to the chalumeau, an earlier single-reed instrument. Over time, additional keywork and airtight pads were added to improve the tone and playability. Today the clarinet is a standard fixture of the orchestra and concert band and is used in classical music, military bands, klezmer, jazz, and other styles.

After many years of experience, teaching has become an ongoing passion and I developed a powerful and fun approach of teaching for beginners and advanced students.

Noticing that a lot of violin players are unable to play music without scores I tend to work using more the ears instead of scores. Besides learning songs and improvisation in the musical genre that the student prefers, I also emphasize on technique and posture.
