My name is Claudio, I'm an award-winning Italian saxophonist and clarinetist based in Rotterdam.
I studied and graduated in Italy and in the Netherlands, where I finished Master studies in Classical and Jazz Saxophone.
As a musician, I was internationally awarded 8 times in the last 4 years, both as a soloist, band member, and arranger/composer, and I released 7 CDs so far.

Although I have a busy performing schedule (which led me in over 14 countries and 4 continents in these years) I love teaching (one-to-one and online as well) and meet passionate students.

Dear student,
my name is Claudio, I am an Italian saxophonist and clarinetist who moved to the Netherlands about 5 years ago.
I graduated in both classical and jazz saxophone, in Italy and in Den Haag and recently moved to Rotterdam, where I am running a busy schedule made of teaching, composing, organizing, and touring around Europe, and more!

I am 25 years old and I hope I will have the chance of passing my knowledge to you, no matter your starting level. You only need a saxophone and a lot of passion, and we can do a lot of things together.

With experience teaching students of all ages, Sandra Pérez is an acclaimed clarinet player who will help you achieve your musical goals -whether it may be just getting acquainted with the clarinet or if you are already looking to pursue higher education. Can't read music? No problem! Complementary music theory and music history are part of the class as needed.

With 20 years of experience as a guitar teacher and as a professional musician, I like to pass on my passion for the guitar to others.
I teach at all levels; from beginners to advanced, and specialize in jazz, flamenco, classical, bossa nova, rock, funk and metal.
On the basis of the level of the student I make a program that suits them, including learning songs with chords, playing riffs, rhythm theory, speed, improvisation, specific techniques, transcription of solos.
I also teach entire bands, using control so that they can play well together.

Would you like to learn one of the instruments which have more style possibilities? Would you like to know why many composers say that is a very powerful instrument because it fits in may situations? Did you know that in the Klezmer history clarinet substituted the violin for projection reasons but also because perfectly able to imitate the human voice, crying or laughing? Would you like to discover the fascinating world of clarinet?

One of my priorities as a musician is the sound. I believe that with a beautiful and personal sound you are able at every level to transmit emotion and meaning, it doesn’t matter the difficulty or the level. So I try to focus first on awareness of what’s beautiful for the student and what’s not. Then through technique and repertoire (suggestions of the student or suggestions of mine that can help to grow the student curiosity), we develop the student knowledge.

Always helping the student to understand -depending on his/her the theoretical level- what we are doing, putting together music and theory. And giving tools to expand the border, at all levels. I have knowledge and experience in Jazz, Classical, Klezmer, Choro Music and Improvisation.
You just need a precious element!

• Music Theory
I focus on having a good basics, spending as much as we need to understand every single thing, because then with times it becomes more easy. I try to help the student simplifying the material because then, we only with ourselves with a good procedure of the basics to solve any problem. Only with one lesson, you will understand what I mean.

I have experience in preparing students for exams, the ones for the semester as well as any official exam; doesn't matter if you have an intermediate theory level and you want to improve, or if you would like to be stronger solidifying the knowledge you have (which is always the best option), or if you don’t know anything about notes and music concepts and you would like to be familiar with them. Maybe you are an adult who always wanted to improvise but doesn’t know where to start...?
The only thing you need is a good organization -which I can provide- to reach any goal!

Do you want to have fun learning how to play the most beautiful instrument in the world or improve your skills with it? I'd be delighted to do it with you! I'm a classical clarinetist, I have two masters (recently graduated at Codarts) and different experience in orchestra, chamber music and teaching! My goal as a teacher is to stimulate the student to study in order to be at the disposal of music and not a passive player as can happen many times when you undertake a new study. That is why I like to play with my students and organize little private concerts and try-out.
Concerning the music theory lessons, I am not going to bore you with long and incomprehensible explanations! We will study it in a fun and effective way! I've been studying music since I'm five years old and I started with the Kodaly method that made me approach music in a very natural way! I hope to see you soon!

I am an American harpist holding degrees in harp from the University of North Carolina, the National Conservatory of France in Lyon, and currently studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium den Haag. I am happy to teach students of any age and skill level in the Hague area, either at my home or yours! I am able to teach all styles of playing from classical to jazz and pop, and I am happy to cater my teaching to the interests of the student. I am fluent in English and French.

Trombone lessons

Learning to master the trombone is no easy task. It is an infinitely variable instrument, it has no valves or valves, which means that the hearing in particular must be well trained. Solfège is an important part of my lessons. If you can sing something, you can also play it, is my vision. Besides trombone lessons I also give trumpet lessons for beginners. Even then I use the ear training method.

At music schools I teach according to the AMV principle. With that you can get your diplomas, A to D. The latter is, as it were, the audition for the conservatory.

In my studio close to Rotterdam, I give music lessons according to your needs. This can be technique, or being able to present an etude or concert beautifully. But also learning to play over a chord progression, improvising, being able to play freely.

COVID-19 update 2021: Due to the corona crisis, I am currently also teaching online via Skype. However, my studio is so big that the 1.5 meters can be maintained for the 1 on 1 lessons.

I have been playing cello for 19 years. Over the years I played in various settings: chamber music (small ensembles like trios, quartet), bands (new music), solo and orchestras such as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest and Jong Metropole (national youth jazz orchestra).
I love to play classical music but also some jazz, funk or pop! I like to play with people, create music together, improvise... And I hope this is something I can also pass on to my students!
Since 6 years I am teaching all kind of people: all ages, all level, in different languages, individual or in groups... So don't be afraid to have a try! I can teach in english and french, and if your level is not fluent we will always find a way to communicate!
I teach in The Hague, Amsterdam or online and I can come to your place to teach!
