Hi, My name is Jeymmy and I am a PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH TEACHER. I have been teaching English for the past 15 years, and I have 8 years of experience teaching online. I also have a bachelor’s degree in education and a MASTERS DEGREE in education. I live in very cold but beautiful Saskatoon, Canada. I like to use a communicative language teaching (CLT) approach in my classes. With this method, the goal is to help you communicate effectively and accurately in real life situations. I like to practice through relevant and meaningful activities that will help you reach your language goals. I also like to plan and adapt my lessons to your particular level and needs, so if you want to focus on specific areas such as vocabulary and expressions, grammar, reading, listening, writing, speaking, or a combination of all of these, we can do that as well. I like to bring and create authentic material that I adapt to your particular needs. We may work on a news article, a video, or a podcast, and we may use visual aids to help you grasp new concepts better, faster, and in a more meaningful way. I also have extensive experience with IELTS and TOEFL, so I can help you improve your essay writing and get you ready for college or university. Finally, I have experience teaching CHILDREN and TEENAGERS online. With the younger ones, I like to use a more active approach, so I use lots of TPR, games, and visual aids to make learning fun! I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. Here are some things to know about the DELF and DALF:

They are harmonized on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. They include the following six levels, in ascending order: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. These two diplomas are suitable for all ages and all audiences.
In addition, the DELF B2, and increasingly the DALF C1, allow students to enter French, European or French-speaking universities, and certain Grandes Ecoles.
