At the piano we can learn how to play music you love, how to freely improvise (through a practical use of theoretical knowledge of music) and how to write musical thoughs you may have.
I am Francesca, 31, italian, i had a strong classical training, and after my academic piano studies i needed to open to jazz and songwriting.

My will is to offer a comprehensive and pleasurable approach to music, and to keep the focus on the needs and desires that bring my student close to the piano.

I am happy when students can feel and enjoy the music.

I want to show how to read and know written music, making sure that you understand what the music is like even without the score, in order for you to play with pleasure: i like to teach since the earliest stages notions of harmonic, ear training.

My favourite exercises will ask you to invent some music using and mastering practical/theoretical elements of sound (scales, mode, chords, rhythmic patterns); so that you'll recognise how the composer invented his how music, and it will be easier to play, and why not, to compose something yourself.

My name is João, his professional Classical Guitar with more than 15 years of experience. He has studied guitar performance at the Prince Claus Conservatoire in Holland and in Musical Pedagogy at the University of Aveiro. In addition to classical music, he also has considerable experience in other genres, such as blues, folk and rock. Learning how to play the saxophone can bring a lot of joy and a sense of fulfilment to you or your children live.
I'm a professional saxophonist, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music and I'm currently doing my Master's Degree in Music Education.
I teach general music to young children and saxophone to different ages (from 6 to 60). I’m passionate about educating and inspiring people through music. My biggest hope is for all students to find joy in playing and sharing the beauty of music with others around.
I teach private saxophone lessons to all ages, all levels of learning welcomed! Each lesson is developed according to each student’s needs, interests and personal goals. I believe that working uniquely with each student is essential in providing lessons that are both a rewarding and creative experience.
The classes can be led in my private studio in Lisbon, Portugal or online (in Portuguese, Spanish or English).

My lessons focus on awakening in the student a desire to better understand the world of music, and above all - to develop a taste for musical expression, whether it's through the classical school or the improvisation or pop school.

In order to achieve this goal, I take special account of the fact that music is not only a great entry into the world of creativity, but also a unique challenge, which gives us a new vision of ourselves, and teaches us self-love, patience and problem-solving. I combine this with a technical knowledge that can be adapted to students of any level of experience, as well as a willingness to plan lessons according to the student's project. I often add musical analysis and theory to my lessons, which can unlock and clarify many of the "secrets" of what we play. I can teach in Portuguese, English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

I've been teaching for over a decade, having trained students from the age of 2 to 70- amateurs and professionals. As a musician I have participated in International competitions and graduated from the University of York.

I teach both in my own home and at the student's home, for a fee, and online.
