I've designed this course for all singing class level(beginner,intermediate,advanced).
You'll learn: simple voice technique to create more awareness about your voice sound; melodic,harmonic and rhythm principles applied to singing; understand different approaches to song interpretations; develop your own musical personality; feel totally comfortable while singing.

These qualities have always been important to develop a teaching method whose principle characteristics are visible into defining lessons that can fit my students needs . Professional singer holding a Master Degree in vocal jazz and a Post-Master Teaching Degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels gives private singing lessons open to all ages and all levels.
I am specialized in jazz, but I am open to different genres from salsa to pop music. My goal is to keep my students challenged, but not overwhelmed. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, no previous experience is required nor reading music. And if you have already been involved with music and want to refresh or improve your musical knowlegde, you are on the right spot.
You will learn a variety of singing techniques, personalized according to your needs, as well as your favorite songs, all this in a professional, but very relaxed and fun environment.

My name is Carmen and I am an opera singer. I studied at the PI Chaykovsky Conservatory in Moscow and the famous Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I attended many masterclasses in Russia, Italy and Austria with Edda Moser, Renata Scotto, Nino Machaidze etc. I was also a soloist in the Vatican Choir.

For several years, I have been working as a singing teacher in Brussels. I offer courses in English, French, Russian and Italian. I teach children from 6 years old (beginners or more experienced). I offer a wide variety of breathing and singing techniques.

Do you like to sing and want to develop your voice? Great, because singing is great fun and healthy!

During my lessons we will explore the possibilities of your voice together. The development of a healthy, natural voice and pleasure are central.
That is why the lessons are completely adapted to your qualities, taste and pace. Together we work on solid singing technique, breathing, articulation, interpretation, musicality and vocal hygiene. We explore the classical singing repertoire and look for music that suits your voice. You can also take a trip to other genres (jazz, pop, musical, ...) You learn to use your voice from a classical approach, but with good singing technique you can handle many styles!

I am Thijs (30) an experienced drummer and musician, with a wide range of musical interests. Studying jazz drums under the wings of Lander Gyselinck at the KASK/Conservatory in Ghent. In addition, I have followed masterclasses and lessons from/with Joey Baron (US), Kendrick Scott (US), Corey Fonville (US) and Stéphane Galland (BE). I am also active in various bands/groups.

My lessons, depending on the level, focus on both the fundamental building blocks of drumming and music as a whole. These building blocks together with the student's interests form the curriculum, so that it meets the student's wishes as best as possible. I also teach music theory/music theory. Some aspects of this are also offered during drum lessons.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁
I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,...
After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw!

Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc.

A seasoned and passionate musician since the age of 15, I gave my first lessons more than 10 years ago. I am an excellent pedagogue, and I adapt to the level of the student, whether in terms of technical mastery of the instrument, ability to read notes (or tablature), as well as understanding music theory and of the theory. I put myself at the service of the student, his level and his tastes and musical projects. I have a thorough knowledge of music theory, particularly in jazz, and a long experience of playing together (jazz, rock and progressive metal). I can thus provide the theoretical elements necessary for the student to fully appropriate his instrument, at his own pace, and be able to play in a group, invent bass lines, improvise and compose pieces.

The bass is the most important instrument in a musical ensemble, whether in jazz, rock, blues, funk, metal or pop. She is the benchmark for all other musicians, she defines both rhythm and harmony, and she literally makes the bodies of the listeners vibrate.

First of all, if you tell yourself that:
