Hallo! In meinem Unterricht verwende ich einen kommunikativen Ansatz, der auf strukturierten Materialien basiert. Das bedeutet, dass wir ein Kursbuch verwenden, aber nach jeder Übung bitte ich meine Schüler sofort, zu besprechen, was wir gemacht haben. In meinem Survival-Kurs lernen wir zum Beispiel, sich in der ersten Stunde vorzustellen.
Natürlich hängt mein Unterrichtsplan vom Ziel meines Schülers ab und es kann nur eine Grammatikübung sein, aber ich kombiniere gerne Grammatik, Sprechen und verschiedene Spiele. Ich bitte immer darum, Hausaufgaben zu machen und ermutige, viel zu Hause zu hören. I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English.

I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. If you would like to learn Turkish or English in a consistent and structured way, I would be happy to work with you.

Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure.

I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation.

I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels.

The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons.

I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ...
