Do you want to achieve a level of fluency and fluidity in English? If so, my lessons are perfect for you. I am a native English speaker, from Ireland and currently living in Metz. My lessons are available online, via Zoom, or face-to-face.

My lessons are adaptable to your language goals. I teach grammar, pronunciation and spelling in an immersive education setting. My lessons will help prepare for English exams, such as the Cambridge exams, while also helping you learn to speak like a native. I provide worksheets, posters and new vocabulary during each lesson.

To improve fluidity and enjoyment in language learning, I teach via board games, videos, litterary texts and more.

Whether you are a casual learner, high school student, university student or preparing for a language exam, I will cater my lessons to your wishes.

Über mich

Hi! My name is Saoirse, I'm an Irish university student who is currently on Erasmus in Metz.
In Ireland, I am completing a four year Bachelor of Education degree which will allow me to become a high school teacher. I have experience in teaching students languages in a school setting and also summer camps.
I have a passion for languages and believe language immersion is the best way to improve language skills. I try to avoid speaking my student's native language during lessons, as I wish to expose all my students to as much English as possible. I use props and images to tackle language barriers. However, if explanations are needed in French, I have a B1 level of French to explain concepts.

Bildung

I am currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Education, in Dublin City University. This degree will qualify me to teach in high school.
Currently completing a TEFL online learning degree.

2 years of private language tuition via Zoom.
In these lessons, I helped students improve their aural and oral skills to reach a level of fluidity in their speech. I helped students broaden their vocabulary.

However, at the international level, some are predominant either always (English and Spanish) or for reasons of important development of some countries on the world stage, such as Chinese, Russian. In border regions other languages can have a major role.
We offer language courses (English, German, Russian, Bulgarian) if the language you are looking for is not taught in your children's school. In addition we offer interventions directly in schools, if you are interested or if there are no language courses.

Student in engineering school (2nd year Arts et Métiers) offers courses and support in these language courses from primary to high school. I have a taste for teaching and a good pedagogy that allows me to identify the difficulties of the student and the methods to use.
