The lessons run as follows. First, we look together for the student's biggest stumbling blocks. These can be related to the subject matter as well as to the study method. From there, I work at the pace of the student and encourage them to ask as many questions as possible. I also give tips and tricks, and improve their working methods where necessary. During the lesson I give many examples to make the subject matter more interesting and we solve exercises together. In 5 lessen (van 1,5 uur via Zoom) leer je alles wat je op vakantie nodig hebt om de Grieken te kunnen begroeten, je eten en drinken te bestellen, de rekening te betalen, te vertellen waar je vandaan komt en nog veel meer. Ook leer je het alfabet zodat je de menukaart en naamborden kunt lezen en krijg je informatie over de cultuur (bijvoorbeeld welke gebaren je wel en vooral níet moet maken) en de geschiedenis van Griekenland.

Na die 5 lessen kun je kleine gesprekjes voeren, en omdat de Grieken het zó waarderen dat jij moeite doet om hun taal te spreken, wordt jouw vakantie zoveel leuker! Er gaan letterlijk en figuurlijk deuren open!

I understand how many students think and why they get stuck, while teachers often struggle with this.
