Hello! I am an enthusiastic and passionate musician, who also really enjoys sharing this with my students. To me, music is about so much more than technique and ability, it is about communication, conversation, and expression. Of course how you hold the instrument and use the bow is vitally important to this goal, and these elements require a lot of hard work and dedication, but this is always in service of making creative, beautiful music. When you are learning an instrument it is so easy to get caught up in the physical challenges, which is why I love reminding my students (and myself!) not to forget to play for enjoyment too :)
