Sciences lessons with an Enthusiastic Tutor for anyone!

I like tutoring based on the lessons the student is given at school. Usually I go over what is being covered in class and deepen the theory by proposing my own exercices and teaching methods. If the student is preparing for an exam (GCSE, A-levels), I practise with him/her exam papers according to the exam board.
I always give feedback on exercices done during the tutoring lesson (usually by writing a paper card to ease remembering key concepts and vocabulary learnt during the lesson).
As I am now following a creative Masters degree, I like to implement exercises and ways of teaching that trigger the student's creativity and brings a relaxed and fun environment for learning.

Mathematics is a central subject for all secondary school students and also for many MBO, HBO and WO students.

With a PhD in Mathematics and years of experience in education (university lectures, thesis supervision, tutorials, high school classes, tutoring, etc.) I can provide any kind of tutoring and exam training of high quality.

I am also working as an independent board game designer. I also spend a lot of time with my wife and children aged 0 and 2.

I am an interactive teacher of 5 years experience. My way of teaching is friendly and open, but clear and direct. I use lots of materials and interactive simulations and conceptual learning where possible. My abilities in education are incredibly strong and getting better every time I tutor. Given the previous situation with Covid. Online teaching has become second nature and I am happy to help your learn online as well.

Teaching methodology:
In order to teach a student effectively, it cannot simply be a matter of taking notes or going over the same material again and again. Students need time to connect concepts by approaching subjects from many angles. It takes practice and skill to make learning in a classroom interesting. I have been developing those skills over many years and continue to try and do so as I teach and learn myself!

Normally also taught a lot in the past, cognitive level method:

Domain work, for example, a book value, for each chapter I make a preparatory analysis of what that domain chapter entails, then I convey this to the child or adult, at the end of that session briefly define a concise learning perspective of yes, what have we learned and I wanted to say and convey effectively, during the session I also immediately make an inventory of how the reaction policy is acting, in advance I define certain homework statements based on the material in a totalitarian way, but determine on the basis of direct analysis what is feasible and what I set as a requirement, what is also being developed further, is always advantageous but not immediately necessary.

Then in the following session I deal with the homework, ask the person very carefully and also make statements of puzzles for personal insight and awareness of one's own abilities, certain homework attributes after a scan where I can see based on the information what direct urgency is involved. I immediately make a copy of the remaining material value, collect this to see if there are errors or whether it is feasible immediately or at a later stage. Make an overview and keep a plot of growth. Periodically I will test certain issues with a ratio policy of frequency based on a minimum of 6 weeks of time, then a short evaluation test every two weeks.

To transport to location I charge a small fee depending on the distance, approximately €10 - max. €20
