I'm an experienced live and session musician and graduated from BIMM (FormerTech music school in London, the UK). I have recently moved to Berlin. I've been a member of RGT (Registry Of The Guitar Tutor in the UK and Germany). I also hold the Electric Guitar Exam Grade 8, RGT Teaching diplomas DipLCM(TD), and RGT ACLM(TD).
RGT is a UK-based music teaching organization and offers a wide range of internationally recognized exams, in partnership with the London College of Music Exams (one of the world's most respected music examination boards, established in 1887) and certificated by the University of West London. So it'd be right up your street if you consider taking up the exams and becoming a qualified player!

Hi there! I'm a professional, award-winning guitarist with over 18 years of experience playing Jazz, Blues, Funk, Pop, and Finger-style. I have worked internationally as a bandleader, accompanist, and solo performer.

My approach to teaching is very pragmatic, time-efficient, and fun and I prefer not to overwhelm students with too much information or technical exercises. I believe that the number one priority both in playing and teaching music should be enjoyment, and that's why I tailor each lesson to the uniqueness of each student, making sure that we are learning about things that YOU want to learn about and moving towards YOUR unique goals.

Like with languages, intuition plays a huge part in learning an instrument. Most often in music, the correct choice will the the one that ~feels~ the most natural. This is what my teachers, from when I was a kid, all the way to the end of my studies at the conservatory, have prioritized in lessons; Working less hard to sound better.

I’m here to help you in the same way, to decipher with you certain sounds, certain gestures in recorder playing, so that we can map out together your skill set, and eventually find your own style of play.

When it comes to the grammar part of music, I’m ready to teach you everything about reading notes, intervals, chords, and all the principles of music theory, with examples and fun exercises.

I am a very patient person, and have experience with beginners as well as “matured” amateurs :)

I hold a masters in early music, along with a bachelors in classical composition.

My dream is to live from composition mainly, writing music for concerts, film and ballet. Currently I’m working on a ballet commission from the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, and more original music for a series of concerts next summer in France.

My favorite composers are Bartok... and a bunch of anonymous medieval ones.
