Also, the vocabulary and the pronunciation are important, each one for other reasons. A good vocabulary will make the student more confident. The right pronunciation is needed in order for someone to be understood.
A study of a foreign language is like travelling to this country. You find out its culture and its tradition.

I am a very well-organized teacher when it comes to the lesson. I want my lesson to get better and better as I want my students to get better and better.
Learning a foreign language is like travelling to a country. You learn not only the language but also its tradition, its history and the way things are at a place you haven't visited.
I try to motivate my pupils in order to do their best. For the student, I believe that setting a goal and try to succeed in class is the best way to succeed in his/her life.

I have a Michigan Proficiency in English. I have a TESOL in teaching English students. I have a Bachelor in Tourism Management of the Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece.

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

For the last 5 years I have always been working at a language school. Also, for many years I am a private teacher. Throughout my career I have seen all kinds of students including students with learning difficulties.

I am a Greek native licensed language teacher based in Athens, Greece.
I offer private 1-to-1 online lessons in English, German and modern Greek.

I teach modern Greek, English and German to students of all levels and ages.

I focus on making the lesson as communicative as possible.
I suggest a graded textbook (for communicative or business purposes), but also provide the learner with handouts, in order to offer an authentic language experience. I also provide and suggest extra educational material for self-study.

Learning a language is like learning how to ride a bike. The first steps are the hardest and need much guiding. There are a lot of stepping stones and ways to fall. Later on it becomes easier, but on the other hand the language grows and the opportunities of use are widening. I offer German and English classes for beginners and advanced students.
Furthermore I offer classes in Philosophy in both languages to deepen the language and deepen the knowledge and use of the given language. The classes can be structured in likes of the needs and the strengths of the student, as I am experienced in teaching abroad as well as different age groups and levels.
