I'm currently studying viola performance and education at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I have a large experience in teaching, both in schools and privately, beginners or intermediate students.
I’m offering viola lessons that suite any level of playing.
My goal is that the students come out of their lessons feeling inspired and motivated to practice and enjoy music! I aim to help students finding their passion, to inspire people with music so that they find joy in playing an instrument!

You can come to the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for lessons or I can travel to your home. Online lessons are available with high video/sound quality. If you don't have a viola I'll help you to find one!

Hello! I’m João, from Portugal, and I currently study viola performance and education at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn.
