One of the most wonderfull string instrument is the cello. If you want to learn how to play cello or just to continue improving your skills do not hesitate to contact me.
I have a lot of experience teaching cello and for me, the most important thing in my lessons is learn well and enjoy.

Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students.
I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels.
In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.

Hello, my name is Andrea and I have more than 5 years of experience teaching cello. For me, the most important thing in my lessons is to learn well and enjoy.

I always start from the previous knowledge of the students and adapt the pieces and exercises to their level in order to achieve a meaningful learning.
My lessons start generally with a short warm-up (technical exercises) and continue with the different pieces chosen by the students.

Positive reinforcement and motivation are some of the fundamental resources in my classes, aimed at both beginners and advanced cellists.

Education

Bachelor's Music Degree in cello performance at Real Conservatorio Superior de Música "Victoria Eugenia" in Spain.
Specialisation cello course at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Hungary.
Master degree on music research.

Expérience / Qualifications

I have more than 5 years of experience teaching students from 8 to 50 years old. Each person is a world that goes at a different pace from the rest, therefore, having patience, explaining and repeating as many times as necessary is essential to assimilate the contents.

I offer cello lessons (online and in-person) in Spanish, English, or French for all ages. Classes are based on dynamic learning through fun, while maintaining the fundamental technical foundations.

In 2019, I completed my Master's degree in Performance at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, the city where I continued to develop my professional career. I've been teaching cello for six years, with students including children, young adults, and adults. I'm fully adaptable to any level: beginners, entrance exam preparation, reinforcement, and more.

Classes can be in Spanish, English or French.

I teach singing, piano, music awareness/introduction and solfège.

I live in Madrid and I am a student of a Higher Degree in Singing (Jazz and Modern Music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (musical and linguistic) in the format of private classes online or at home.

I started giving private classes at home to children when I lived in Germany. During the 22-23 academic year I gave piano classes to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia).
I studied the piano and other instruments for more than 15 years at the UGDA and at the Luxembourg City Conservatory of Music. After many years of music theory and piano I obtained the „Première Mention“ certificate from the Conservatory, with the qualification "Très Bien".

A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student.

Desde hace años he trabajado con alumnos de todas las edades y he sido invitado por numerosas academias para impartir clases magistrales de saxofón. Mi pedagogía se basa principalmente en adaptarme a las necesidades de cada alumno para así ofrecerles el mejor servicio posible.

I graduated with honors from the "Amadeo Roldán" Conservatory in Havana as a lute player, instrument teacher, and ensemble practice teacher. I also perform in the execution of the guitar, the piano and the Cuban tres, as well as group work.

This class is aimed at those who are interested in learning music, either theory or practice. This is a discipline that requires rigor and demand, something without which it would not proceed. The passion and love for this art will play a transcendental role in the assimilation of the contents and the importance that can be given to it.

The course can be accelerated and directed to achieve a level that allows you to decipher sheet music, jazz chords and transcribe solo from a song just by listening to it. Or it can also be to your liking and at your own pace. My goal as a music teacher is to inspire my students and help them develop their musical talent to the fullest.

I teach classes based on 3 moments: technical exercises, learning theory, and interpretation of popular music.
Preference for rock music and songs in Spanish.

In this course you will learn to understand your body through music. To play piano we need more than our fingers, you will learn to feel your body, the relaxation that passes through it and the necessary movements you must make to be able to properly play the piano.
You will also learn a lot about each era, starting from the Baroque to today. You will be able to see how each era is unique and the way of seeing and feeling music in each of them.
You will learn many ways to study, so that you can continue at home alone with the certainty of doing well.
We will learn together, because I am convinced that teaching is a way of learning too.

Mon cours laisse une place importante à la pratique active de l'instrument : je n'entends pas faire de théorie musicale, ni de solfège (sauf si nécessaire). Le travail du son, de la technique de l'archet et de la main gauche, seront en revanche au coeur du cours. J'entends allier étude et gammes (travail de technique pure), et morceaux, de tout style. Bien sûr, l'équilibre entre ces deux axes de pratique se décidera en concertation avec l'élève. Jouant d'autres instruments de musiques (guitare, ukulele), j'aurais à coeur de consacrer un temps pour des sessions jams avec l'élève, si le coeur lui en dit !

If you already have experience, we'll delve deeper into technique, independence, complex grooves, and creative fills, always with room to explore your favorite musical influences.

If classical percussion is your thing, you'll find a specialized space where we'll work on technique and repertoire on marimba, snare drum, timpani, vibraphone and multi-percussion.

And to give you a solid foundation to support your practice, I offer applied music theory classes. Far from being boring, we approach it practically: rhythmic and melodic reading, harmony, ear training... All geared towards helping you understand and enjoy the music you play more, whether for composing or performing in a group.
