I am an international academic consultant who assists institutions in the public and private sector worldwide. My field of expertise spans from managing academic centers for local communities to private online tutoring. I have extensive experience in educational settings and hI have undertaken educator and leadership roles in K-12 and university environments. I am the founder of KdemU which is consultancy firm with members in eighteen countries. I have worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Doha for Science and Technology, and as Computer Science Instructor at Academic Bridge Program in Qatar. I have also worked as adjunct professor for the Master's in Educational Technology (State University of New York, in Qatar) and I completed several international assignments for the International Baccalaureate (IB) as teacher trainer, verification visitor, consultant, and curriculum reader. I presented at international events multiple times and also have over twenty years of experience as Foreign Language educator in international K-12 institutions. I hold a degree in Translation Studies (Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina), a Master's in Computational Linguistics (Pompeu Fabra University, Spain), a Master's in Educational Technologies (State University of New York, in Qatar), and a PhD. in Applied Linguistics from Swansea University, UK. My main research interests are in the areas of Language Technologies, Educational Technology, Translation Technology, Computer-Assisted Language Learning, and Computational Linguistics. I am currently a manuscript reviewer for ReCALL, the Computer-Assisted Language Learning journal of Cambridge University Press, and for IAFOR.
