I am Patricia, a Spanish teacher and examiner for DELE exams for both adults and youngsters. I have experience working at language schools with regular courses and extracurricular courses. I also work with the Instituto Cervantes and other institutions as a teacher and examiner.
I have experience working with children, teenagers, and adults of different levels, both in face-to-face classes and online.
In class, we adapt to your needs, whether it's using a more structured curriculum, or focusing on the specific points you need to improve or practice. But always with dynamic and fun activities, focusing mainly on communication skills :D
In addition to level courses (A1-C1), I also offer language and culture courses, such as reading clubs tailored to Spanish learners, cinema, etc. Contact me!

My name is Patricia and I come from a small town in La Rioja, northern Spain.
I am passionate about various things, like sports, water and stories. My ideal day would be one that includes a slow but yummy breakfast with a bit of sunlight, some outdoor sport like swiming, hiking or climbing and a cultural activity in good company, for example a reading club meeting or a cinema date. :)
Currently I live in Berlín, where I can try to fit my days into that ideal quite often. The only thing that, sometimes, gets difficult is the sun part. That's why I try to travel back home from time to time. As well as to visit family and friends.
What I love the most about my work as a teacher is the space we create where we focus on the tools we have and the ones we need in order to understand and comunicate with each other, to tell our stories and build our opinions.
As I see it, it is not just about learning "words" and "grammar rules", it's about communicating, learning and building ideas. I also love seeing the developement in the learning process of my students.

الخبرة / المؤهلات
My experience studying Philosophy and 10 years working as a non formal educator have allowed me to create a hybrid style in teaching where learning critically about the world (languages, geography, social movements, literature, art, etc.) is the bases, but doing it in a way that is fun, interactive and creative is what keeps the wheel going.
I also studied a Master's degree in Language didactics, which has helped me go deeper in the interest of sharing culture. My lessons are always oriented to develope communication skills, no matter if it is a grammar class or a reading club.

Improve your communication skills in all areas (speaking, listening, reading, writing) through the exciting world of fables by Chilean author Luis Sepúlveda.
In these classes we will read different fables, little by little, and get to know endearing characters, think about very interesting topics and build our own ideas while learning to understand and use the past tenses (imperfect?, indefinite?), the subjunctive (oh, oh, oh!) or the vocabulary necessary to tell stories (your story) of everyday life.

In these classes, we will practice oral communication skills and delve deeper into the vocabulary and structures necessary to read and speak about current events in the Spanish-speaking world. We will do this through reading and discussing newspaper articles.

- Before class: you will receive a news item to read first.
- During the class:
