Trusted teacher: Courses for students who need to refresh their skills for a qualifying exam. General revision (oral, written, listening, grammar, conjugations). Adults for professional or everyday oral communication. My name is Anne, and I've been teaching English as a second language for over thirty years now. Teaching is a true passion of mine! I can, of course, help in the preparation of a possible final exam. *A large part of my audience is undoubtedly adults. (i)I specialize in oral communication for professional purposes: If you need to express yourself clearly in meetings, on the phone, in video or in front of a client, you've come to the right place 😊😊 My main areas of work are oral and written comprehension and expression, with an emphasis on business communication vocabulary. Trusted teacher: Music theory is the basis of music, whatever the instrument, a good knowledge of the theory and practice of music is an asset that will help you progress in learning your instrument. A good knowledge of music theory will also help you to read "sight" or decipher your scores. With good training and several tips, I will give you the keys to performing these moments, sometimes considered "painful" by many. students, with ease! I also offer my help with remedial lessons for children or adults having problems in group music theory lessons at the academy or other private schools. Group lessons offer little opportunity to speak one-on-one with a student to overcome certain difficulties; a regular or occasional individual lesson can remedy these problems. I finished my entire cycle of music theory at the academy, as well as 4 additional years of advanced music theory at the Lemmensinstituut during my musical humanities, I then obtained my "solfege prize" in my first year of Bachelor at the Brussels Conservatory . I have also given a lot of instrumental, theoretical and group lessons, in these, certain aspects of theory and music theory come up regularly with my students, they always find these moments very enriching. I adapt to the student's materials and books if necessary but I can also bring my own exercises and books. I offer these lessons individually or semi-collectively (max. 3 students), you choose the duration that suits you best: 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on your desires and your concentration. In addition, I also offer musical awakening lessons for the little ones from 3 years old. Music is a great asset for the development of a child, I acquired a great experience during three years where I taught musical awakening in different schools in Waterloo (the communal school of Chenois, Mont Saint Jean) . The groups were made up of 8 to 10 kindergarten children. In these classes, I always proceed in the same way for the structure of the class, I start with a little warm-up where the children become aware of their bodies and the environment, I then continue with 2-3 exercises working on an aspect of music. like the rhythm, the voice, the melody, the instruments, ... and I always end up with a little game with percussion instruments or a musical story. As for music theory, I offer these courses in individual or semi-collective ways (max. 3 students). *How about a little activity for siblings?* Classes can last 15 or 30 minutes depending on the number of children and their ages.

Trusted teacher: I've been teaching English to small children up to teenagers at École Française Internationale. I give lessons for beginners and intermediate levels. I mix between French and English so the pupil doesn't get too confused, but also allows them to understand every detail. For beginners, we usually talk about our surroundings, what's close to us and what affects us on a daily basis. (Numbers, directions, the weather, asking simple questions, what's a noun and pronoun and where to put them in a sentence). I like to find playful activities so that the pupil/student is in control of their work. Of course, this is an example for a certain age group, but it also varies depending on their knowledge and their age. For intermediates, we make basic conversation. Ex: How do you go to school; What do you do in your free time? ; What's the weather like? -------------------------------- The start of the course with a new learner consists of detecting their level by talking about their background, what they already know, what they must master in order to no longer have any gaps. The first lesson also allows the learner to get comfortable and get to know me to establish mutual trust. That’s why I use a touch of my British humor to achieve this. (I generally do this at the start of the lesson with my students to establish a good mood and they are always delighted!) To help the learner better engage with the learning, I will ask them what their passions/hobbies are, this who interests him to arouse interest in learning. I will adapt my lessons on subjects that speak to him more. Whatever the reason for the course, whether it is to improve oral, written, reading or listening comprehension, I organize audio sessions, readings, everything necessary to deepen in the language.
