Spending two years learning French, I have learnt that there is a good way and a bad way to learn a language. Although grammar is important, the quickest way to improve is through constant practice and exposure, i.e. speaking, reading and listening. But more importantly, only speaking, reading and listening to subjects that YOU find interesting. Learning languages should be fun, not a chore. English by origin, I have a licence in history and politics and a masters in French history and culture.
