I teach different types of music such as pop, jazz, hip-hop, and rock. Hallo, ich bin Sängerin/Gesangslehrerin mit einem Master-Abschluss in Musikpädagogik und einem Bachelor-Abschluss in Performance und biete privaten Gesangsunterricht in Basel für alle Niveaus und Altersgruppen an. Bonjour, Je suis une chanteuse/professeure de chant diplômée d’un Master en pédagogie musicale et d’un Bachelor en performance, et je propose des cours de chant à Bâle, en privé, pour tous les niveaux et tous les âges.
J’enseigne différents styles de musique tels que la pop, le jazz, le hip-hop et le rock.
Les cours sont personnalisés et adaptés aux envies et besoins de chaque élève, que ce soit pour découvrir sa voix, chanter pour le plaisir, ou se préparer à des concerts ou autres événements.
Il est également possible de prendre des cours de solfège et d’apprendre à s’accompagner au piano.
Les cours peuvent être donnés en allemand, anglais ou français, et peuvent avoir lieu au domicile de l’élève (à condition qu’il dispose d’un piano ou clavier), ou dans ma salle de musique.

I am singer, classically trained with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology.

As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound.
We choose the repertoire together and work together towards developing your voice, your expressivity, text and style interpretation at your fullest potential.

I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. I am quite open to the students requests and always willing to research deeper and expand my vocal vocabulary.

Singing is a vulnerable, intimate and also communal act. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing.

I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar.

We all have the capacity and the right to sing.
If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it.
And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier.

One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

I am a classical singer (mezzosoprano) from Barcelona. I started my musical studies playing the violin and the viola. I was singing in choirs from I was 5, and there my love for singing started. I studied my bachelor degree in The Neteherlands with the teacher Hanneke de Witt, I have a double degree: performence and pedagogy. Now I am going to do my master with Marcel Bonne.
My main goal when I teach is to help the student to find the freedom on the vocal, physical and mental expression. I like to work on music but also on tecninc. I think it is a very important part to find the freedom. I ike to create a lovely space when I teach where the student can find the support and the freedom to try out different things. I have a lot of patience, as a singer you need to be patient and to try again and again.
I love to help the students to find their way to teach themselves so they don't need that much lessons in the futur.

Chanteur formé à la Schola Cantorum de Bâle (du chant médiéval jusqu'au XXe siècle), je propose un cours de chant général : technique vocale de base (posture, travail du souffle, travail du son), découverte de différents répertoires (en fonction des goûts de l'élève; répertoires pop aussi possible), travail sur l'interprétation. Je peux accompagner l'élève au clavier. Je travaille avec des personnes de tous les âges, débutants ou non. Le but est de progresser dans un climat de confiance.

Vous pouvez également me contacter pour des cours de solfège uniquement (lecture des notes et rythme, déchiffrage, notions de théorie musicale, travail de l'oreille).

Je donne enfin des cours de piano aux débutants.

Je peux donner le cours en français ou en anglais, allemand et espagnol sont aussi possibles.
Les cours peuvent se dérouler à mon domicile ou au domicile de l'élève.

Everybody can sing!
In my classes I will guide you to find your own voice, through vocal exercises and movements, self-perception and listening. My desire is that the student enjoys his or her voice and singing without hurting or using extra tension and specially that he/she has the tools to know the instrument, so to know yourself.
In addition to vocal technique, I offer interpretation tools and music theory through repertoire work (songs) so that the student can interpret different styles and sing along with other musicians.
I studied vocal technique with teachers from the Rabine Institute in Germany and I have also taken a lot of courses of dance, theater and Alexander Technique that I use for my lessons in order to have an holistic approach of the voice and our body as an instrument. Let's have fun!

Apprendre à chanter est un processus qui vient de l’intérieur ; une histoire qui vous fait franchir le pas pour vous améliorer ; pour trouver un moyen de découvrir ce qui, selon vous, est le mieux pour vous et votre voix.
Mais que recherche-t-on dans un cours de chant ? En sommes-nous vraiment conscients ? La voix se révélera progressivement, telle une pierre taillée pour exprimer l'objet de notre imaginaire et de nos désirs.

Pour cette raison, en plus des cours de musique et de chant, je propose tout un parcours guidé par la méditation et le coaching personnel qui permet d'améliorer votre rapport à votre voix, mais aussi votre rapport à vous-même.
Je pense que chanter peut ouvrir de nouveaux horizons dans nos vies. I offer music theory lessons for all ages and levels (starting from age 10 onwards)
I help pupils to develop the ability to read and sight sing music and, to develop and expand their hearing and intonation skills.
I adapt my lessons to the student's needs and level but I'm also happy to provide a more structured program to prepare exams and auditions for music students wishing to enter a conservatory or music academy (solfége, reading, writing, dictation and basic harmony).
My top priority is that students have fun and enjoy themselves during the process of learning.

I teach in English, Spanish, Italian and French.

J'aide les élèves à développer leur capacité à lire et à chanter à vue, ainsi qu'à développer et à élargir leurs capacités auditives et d'intonation.
J'adapte mes cours aux besoins et au niveau de l'élève mais je suis également heureuse de fournir un programme plus structuré pour préparer les examens et les auditions pour les étudiants en musique qui souhaitent entrer dans un conservatoire ou une académie (solfège, lecture, écriture, dictée et harmonie de base).
Le plus important pour moi en tant qu'enseignante, c'est que les étudiants s'amusent et prennent du plaisir pendant le processus d'apprentissage.
