Bring your motivation and leave the rest to me ;) In the Levent area, which contains of four countries (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine), we call our colloquial Aammiye, or Shami dialect. Aammiye is widely understood in most of the Arab countries due to its production of a large amount of popular series, songs, and TV shows that are seen and known all over the other Arab countries. In my opinion Aammiye became -kind of- a new standard spoken dialect. If you're looking to sound cool then you have to learn this dialect!
