I have been writing songs now for 30 years, including being asked to write lyrics for local charities and for special occasions. Songwriting theory and musical theory and compositions can often take the fun out of lifting and playing music - whether its a guitar, microphone, drum kit! These 1 hour sessions give the customer an opportunity to explore musical styles, rhythms, while personalising a song for their own use. Every song created will be supplied in an electronic copy, with the lyrics displayed in a certificate explaining the background to the song/ lyrics/ tune etc. Option1 : Tutor and customer discuss the scope of the song - whwether the song is to be personal - about someone, somewhere, a particular event - whether the song is to be uplifting or melancholy, with distortion, or smooth? These personalised songs can be so well received; especially with a copy of a certificate explaining why it was written, when it was written and for whom. Option 2: The Random Song - pick some random words and create a masterpiece; see the story come to life as the song verses merge into a meaningful chorus.... or let the fun begin, and let the children ( small and grown up) have loads of ideas which randomly converge into YOUR song! Can be done in person as part of a 'party' or online over Teams etc. No two sessions are ever the same; and multiple members can dial in if you want them to share in the Songwriting process! Please feel free to ask questions, I have sample certificates available, and would love to hear from you! Every session comes with an e version of the recorded song, and an electronic copy of the certificate, showing the lyrics and details of the songwriter, date created/recorded.

I have a masters degree in music production, released three solo albums, mixed, composed and arranged for various musicians and companies, worked as a live mixer, gained live experience as a musician, taught music and production classes, ... I want to help you achieve the same by providing the right knowledge where needed. Mixing, mastering, producing, songwriting, composition, studio organization, music theory, etc... I own a small home studio with a humble amount of gear: mics, compressors, effects, pedals, synths, eurorack and amps. I teach in various ways but mostly online since there seems to be a higher demand and it's a very effective way to teach music production. The lessons are conducted via video call, all you'll need is a good internet connection and a decent listening setup, be it headphones or speakers. You're also very welcome in my studio for lessons in person and I'll also happily join you at your place if my travel costs and time are compensated for. ————— If you choose to be understood in Ableton, this will roughly be the program: - Overall view of Ableton's workflow. - Generating sound in Ableton. Introduction to sound design for various music genres. Techniques like: warping and pitching audio, resampling, midi effects, max for live, Ableton's built in instruments & effects with possible introduction to synthesis (fm, additive, wavetable), third-party plugins and instruments, ... - Arranging and composition in Ableton's arrangement view. - Mixing - Mastering - Transferring your creation to a live situation using Ableton. Many of these concepts are also applicable to other DAWs. (FL Studio, Pro Tools, Logic, Reaper)

Trusted teacher: I am a 30-year old guitarist, songwriter and composer based in Den Haag, songwriting, composition, electric and acoustic guitar, in combination with music theory. I teach in English or in Greek. I am half Greek and half Scottish and I have been living in the Netherlands for the last 4 years. I offer lessons in all styles, to all age groups, and for any experience level (ranging from students who have never written a song before, up to experienced songwriters who are looking for fresh ideas and improving their skills to really make their songs shine). Face to face lessons are preferable, but I also teach online. Pedro is teaching to my daughter Alice (6 y.o.). He is very organized and punctual teacher. Every week prior each lesson at our place he shares the program with the parents. He is talented in teaching to young kids, he can grab their attention and interests with small musical games, (co)writing music and lyrics while learning chords and rhythm with acoustic guitar, electric guitar or (even!) ukulele. Moreover, he can provide advice to parents in buying gear and equipment which we really appreciated! I really recommend Pedro to all parents looking for a guitar teacher in the Zurich area

Guitar MADE EASY ♫ including theory and composition! (Stuttgart)

Oscar is an amazing instructor! His ability to teach how to play the guitar is incredible. He is patient and encouraging. He applies philosophy, wisdom and experience into his teaching practices. Before going to Oscar, I was not very confident on playing the guitar. Now, after only two lessons, I am playing better and have more confidence in my playing ability. I definitely would recommend him to anyone hands down!!

After the first few lessons I can say that Ivan is serious about his craft. His lessons are tailored to the needs of the student and he pays a lot of attention to technique and good posture, which for a beginner guitar player like myself is especially important. On top of that Ivan is just a very nice guy, easy to talk to and able to explain concepts and theory in an understandable way.
