In German, I usually tutor B1.1 or higher, and I gave German classes for A1 and A2. In English, I typically tutor up to B2. With some students, I would simply have a conversation and focus on giving them feedback on pronunciation and grammatical correctness. With other students, we would do their homework together, and prepare their material for their class so that they actually understand what they are learning.
