Hello,
My name is Anna and I am a UK qualified teacher. I specialise in teaching English, English as an Additional Language and Humanities subjects. I have taught in the UK and also in Swiss international schools. and have experience teaching the UK national curriculum and the IB at Middle School & High School level. I have also worked extensively with pre-school and infant school aged children providing extra homework support or EAL lessons.
My classes are flexible based on the needs of my pupils. I understand that everyone learns differently, and it is very important to me to get to know my students as individuals. Normally I would follow the syllabus curriculum, but I am also very happy to tailor lessons on a more individual basis. I make sure that lessons are varied, including quizzes and different activities and also record pupils' progress on a weekly and quarterly basis.

I am a recently qualified teacher specialising in the Humanities and acquisition of English as an Additional Language.
For me, teaching is both an exciting opportunity and great responsibility. I find it fascinating to work with a variety of different pupils who work and progress at their own rate. I love to be able to support pupils in their own progression towards their goals.
I believe very strongly that young people are incredibly capable and that the unlocking of their own potential can always be achieved with the right level and type of support.
I am friendly and outgoing, I love to ski in the winter and go hiking and swimming during the summer. I've lived in Switzerland for the last 2 years and now I can't imagine being anywhere else!

I am a qualified teacher having completed an international PGCE with placements at the International School of Zug and Luzern. My subject speciality is Humanities (History, Geography, Politics, Religion) and I have taught at both Middle and High School levels.
