I run private English classes for individuals and siblings. The sessions are designed for beginners and elementary students and are packed with active games, focused activities and stories - all in English. I use reward charts and positive reinforcement to keep students motivated, and use lots of images, hand gestures and expression to help them learn as quickly as possible. The classes are designed for 4 - 7 year olds with a basic understanding / no understanding of English. They can be adapted for older students. I am a British native speaker with an English teaching qualification (CELTA - Pass A: highest grade) from International House London and a BA (Hons) Performing Arts degree (First class: highest grade) from Bath Spa University in England. I have been helping students learn English since 2012, including spending a year teaching English through theatre and creative activities in Beijing.

During the course with me you will have the opportunity to learn this new language in an entertaining and motivating way. We are going to work both the field of reading, writing, pronunciation and comprehension together. I offer diverse and dynamic activities where I prioritize the participation of the student and the conversation between us. Being a native I can offer you the most concrete learning of verbiage in Spanish or Catalan and work on phonetics. I also offer English classes since I have the C1 English certificate (Cambridge School) and I have been in an English academy (Fun English School) during a course teaching English to children between 3 and 18 years old.

Economics classes for University level students will be based on student's needs (some suggestions: Econometrics, Microeconomics, Quantitative Economics). For school students, it can involve advanced learning or basic Economic knowledge (aligned to student's needs). English classes will involve writing and speaking practice (based on the student's existing knowledge). I tend to explain things pretty well. I always try to assign homework for further practice. Times can be discussed with me and I do accommodate students based on mutual availability.

I currently work as a private language teacher in Belgium and I have a good level of English. As I am not a native speaker, I do not give advanced lessons. People from any age, including kids, can follow my English lessons for levels A1, A2 and B1.

In a personal learning route you walk on your own level and at your own pace through vocabulary, grammar and especially talking. No school stuff, but a lot of variety to stimulate your GOESTING for the language and give a boost to your self-confidence. YES, YOU CAN! I am a certified language teacher (NL-ENG) with many years of experience in schools, adult education and companies, and consider me a 'language desire architect'. It is important that I know how the lesson is taught by the teacher. That is why I always prepare my lessons on the basis of the teacher's workbook. Then I teach from the very beginning. I am convinced that you can never build on things without a good foundation. Does this base not work? Then we'll just start over until we get the hang of it! For a further build-up in difficulty I fully adapt to the pace of the student, this is important to be able to remember everything in the long term, such as for a test within a few days. After class I am also available 24/7 to forward small questions or extra exercises that we can discuss in a next lesson. So no worries, you can always contact me. :)

About myself: I'm Ibrahim, I'm 17 years old and I'm a 6Economics-Language student. My native language is Dutch. After that I also learned English, French and Arabic. I am very good with children and have experience with them. I spent a total of 9 weeks on various playgrounds in Brussels and Leuven.

According to the level of expertise of the student (I accept students from A1 to B2 levels), I will guide the classes with the help of a workbook, focusing on the preparation for the Cambridge English Exam. Therefore, my focus extends to all areas of learning from Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening. The methodology will depend on the preferences of each person. English is my second language and I have advanced training from a highly prestigious English School since I was 5 years old. I have a C2 proficient level certificate (CPE). Hi everyone, I am a Belgian student, currently, I'm in my first master's year at the KULeuven. I chose a master's in 'Rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy specialization musculoskeletal disorders'. During my bachelor years, I developed a very good basic knowledge of science subjects and mathematics: I studied statistics for 3 years, molecular cell biology, chemistry, physics, biomechanics, biochemistry and anatomy. The quality of teaching of both the University of Leuven as the high school I went to (Heilig Hartcollege Tervuren) is something I am very happy/thankful for. I would love to share the education and the knowledge I acquired by supporting and teaching you or your child/teen. I would consider it as a sort of study pathway counseling. As I already have a bachelor's degree in one of the highest-ranked universities in Europe, I have a broad knowledge of quite some subjects. I obtained a BA degree in English Language and Literature, as well as an English MA degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology at KU Leuven. This academic background has laid the foundation for my theoretical knowledge of the English language, especially my reading and writing skills. Additionally, I spent a semester in Dublin in order to improve my 'hands-on' speaking skills. I have a genuine passion for the English language which I hope to pass on to my students. For my classes, I sit down with students to discuss their needs, and attune my course content accordingly. I try to combine theory with practice to keep the classes interesting and lively. Listening and reading skills are especially important in the learning process as they are essential elements to developing an intuitive sense of a language. Furthermore, I attempt to incorporate audiovisual material in order to keep the course content engaging. I am also always happy to discuss and/or lend English books, graphic novels, podcasts, films, music, YouTube clips etc with/to my students.
