ChelseaHarp and Music Theory Lessons for Students of All Ages, Levels, and Backgrounds
I'm a professional harpist who graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Music with extensive teaching experience in the United States and Belgium. I am offering harp and music theory lessons to students of all backgrounds, levels, and ages.
I am currently in the process of completing my Doctor of Musical Arts at the CUNY Graduate Center. I hope to transfer the skills and knowledge I have obtained from working with some of the most renowned teachers to my own students.
HéloiseConcertist harpist graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels gives lessons of harp children-adults in Rixensart.
I am a professional harpist. I studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and I have a masters degree in harp. I then obtained the diploma of post-master soloist / orchestra at the Conservatory of Milan. I am currently a student in aggregation (pedagogy) at the IMEP. I have a lot of experience as a concert artist: orchestra, chamber music, soloist ... I also lived a year in Ireland and opened myself to Celtic music. I am lucky to be part of a family of musicians and I play regularly with my brothers and sister.
I would like to convey to the student my love for the instrument and the music in general.
From the beginning, I would like to make the student aware of sound and music. It is important to give him confidence in his ability to listen and play his instrument without tension. Thus, I will look after the posture and the specific technique of the harp which requires a lot of flexibility. I will be attentive to the progress in the technical and musical achievements. I would also like to open the student to the repertoire of the harp (Celtic or big harp) and to music in general. I would also like to develop the student's creativity through improvisation that requires a basic knowledge of harmony. The theory, (knowledge of notes, rhythms ...), essential, will also be integrated into the course.
LunaHarples and solfège lessons for each level. By an enthusiastic harpist. Student at the conservatory with experience in teaching.
I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I am in my third bachelor. I have followed harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. In this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. With, among other things, the second prize in the competition Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège.
These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start with harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student.
Also, solfège lessons are adapted as much as possible to the pace of the student.
